Power point slides boon and Bane

Emerging power point slides in the teaching and learning process have bane and blessing for students and learners. Across Afghanistan, in many private and some public universities, teachers have been using power slides. The administration obliges the instructor to teach by the help of power point slides and they guess power point slide modernize the education system. However, the ways that teacher utilize the power point slides are bane for education system of Afghanistan. There are some factors which made power point slides bane for students. Majority of the teacher displayed the power point slides which are taken form Google. The slides are prepared by overseas professors for their classes. The ready-made slides were based on the students’ level how studied in the specific context. Some teachers are acquainted with power point program but they do not know the proper ways for developing power point slides. They copied the word chapter text into power point slides then they show the slides the class. The third huge problems, there are teacher who targeted power point slide and they do not provide textbook to the students. This teaching method made the students lazy day by day because they do not take note, as well as, they forget the reading habits which in the conducive factor of teaching and learning. In a nutshell, everything has bane and blessing in the field of education and it is a teacher responsibility to use these thing for better of students.
