More about the Justice League’s Reparations Scholarships
Ten high school seniors will each receive a $5,000 scholarship to attend an accredited college, university or vocational school this fall. Applicants will be selected based on their 500-word essay; academics will be 25% of their total score.
The program was announced at Lansing’s Sexton High School while meeting with students, Feb. 29.
We’ve sent information to public high schools in Greater Lansing (Ingham, Clinton and Eaton counties), a few private schools, churches, not-for-profit organizations that work with youth, media and elected government representatives.
Next week, we’re following up with in-person visits to many organizations already contacted.
How can you help?
Please share news of the scholarship with groups, organizations and eligible applicants. (Thank you!)
