Here are some highlights you’ll find in this quarter's newsletter -- our parent company American Airlines made an exciting announcement that will impact their wholly-owned regional carriers, Piedmont continues to hire talented and qualified team members, and several career stories that showcase Piedmont's commitment to career progression.
Runway Review
Ahead of Investor Day, on March 4th, American Airlines shared their intention to upgauge their 50-seat regional aircraft and bring on board new 90 E-175s into the fleet of their wholly-owned regional carriers. The orders are part of American’s continued investment to expand premium seats across its narrowbody and regional fleets and support the long-term strength of the airline’s domestic and short-haul international network.

On the Horizon
Interested in a career in Aircraft Maintenance? Join us this spring at one of our maintenance bases for our Tuition Payment Program Roadshow. Over the next two months Piedmont recruiters will be hosting information sessions at select maintenance bases for prospective AMT candidates.
✈ Talk with recruiters and hear from previous TPP students about how you can earn you're Airframe and Powerplant license for free through Piedmont's partnership with select aviation schools and a guaranteed job after graduation.

8moThis is Great News for Piedmont. However, industry standards for Regional Carriers Livery’s should be able to display their Livery. The small print of the regional carriers just doesn’t cut it. What satisfaction and loyalty are the employees really getting from it in this fashion. To see your regional carrier pull up to the gate in their Livery, gives you a spectacular and proud feeling.
