Practice Gratitude with Malya; 15th Edition.

Happy Rosh Chodesh Shvat!

Today I want to focus on having gratitude for your body. This past month has been a month of business growth and wonderful experiences. I could not have done the things I have without the use of my body.

The body is so complex, if I go through each individual part of the body, this newsletter will never end. So, I will go through certain parts of the body and hopefully together we can practice gratitude right now!

Let’s all take a moment together to focus on what we have.

Baruch hashem we have:

  1.  Two hands/10 fingers which help us type, eat, write, talk, hug someone, shake someone’s hand, hold silverware which help us eat, and much more.
  2. Two legs which help us walk, run, exercise, enable us to be mobile to see people. People think they can only move with a car, but when we realize that Hashem gave us everything we need in our body to be mobile, our mind will just be blown and filled with gratitude. Yes, a car helps us go to far places, but have we recently stopped to focus on our physical legs? I saw a video of Israelis who have lost one leg due to the horrible situation that is going on and it instilled a renewed sense of gratitude for my own body.
  3. Let’s talk about the eyes: Hashem has given us the biggest gift of all. Sight enables us to see a smile on someone's face, see the beauty in the world that Hashem created. Imagine living in a dark world without sight? The world would feel so dark and lonely. Let’s take a few minutes to thank Hashem for our eyes.
  4. Our ears: They enable us to hear the sweet sound of a baby laughing, we have the opportunity to have conversations with the people we love, we are able to help our clients make more money by understanding their vision, goals and needs.
  5. Let’s talk about the neck: You may think it is random, but imagine not being able to move your neck? Practice this right now: Hold your neck in one place and try to turn to the right without your neck moving. You know what happens? You have to move your entire body. The neck enables you to keep yourself safe while engaging in a conversation with someone. Without turning your body, you still have the ability to check your surroundings so easily and smoothly.
  6. Your nose: When I am in meetings all day, I like to turn on my scented candle. Why? Because good smells relax me and I know that it must relax you too. You know the feeling of walking by a heavenly smelling bakery, or walking into a house with the smell of fresh challah? Imagine we were not given that gift of smell?

I can go on and on about the body and I have not even written about the internal organs. Take a kidney for instance: Hashem gave us two kidneys. What does the kidney do? It is the filtering system in the body. This past month, I had the opportunity to go to two renewal events.

The first event, I ran and managed their booth/table and the second event, I was a guest celebrating their 1,000th kidney transplant. It was interesting to me that this event fell in this month because this month I was focused on having gratitude for my body. It turns out that Hashem put this event specifically in this month as well to keep that gratitude going.

My mom is the 465th kidney donor out of the 1,000. She literally gave something she was born with to help save someone else's life. Can you imagine?

Imagine someone saying give your hand because you have two? Would you do it? It was so special being surrounded by so many givers.

It is so interesting that I was focusing on being grateful for what I have this month. Because, as I was researching the meaning and symbolism of this month, I found out something interesting:

The energy that comes down into the world during the month of Tevet is to be grateful for what we have! We also have an inner drive to take responsibility for what shows up in our lives, and work on forgiving and opening our hearts.

It is also so interesting that forgiveness is in this month because I finally understood the power of forgiveness. I always felt if you forgive someone then the person who hurt you wins, but that is not the case. By forgiving someone you win. Why? Because you chose to move forward and not stay in the pain. That is where the power lies!

I want to share how grateful I am to my wonderful clients. As you may know, I started a company called, The Malya Cam. I have two departments in my company. 1. Trade show management/networking, where I help companies succeed at trade shows. 2. LinkedIn marketing, I brand, build up and run my clients LinkedIn accounts.

I am grateful to have the opportunity to choose the clients that I want to work with. I have to keep my LinkedIn clients confidential, but all I will say is that I am learning so much about different businesses and how they operate. They are without even knowing, teaching me a lot, so I thank them for the knowledge they bring me.

Now, on to my Trade Show clients. Thank you Zevy Lamm Gilad Freimann Chaya Grosinger, LSW TRACARTS Alter Lowy Shimon Berkowitz Itzy Holczler and more, (my other clients are not on LinkedIn) for giving me such great experiences and the opportunity to work with you.

I am proud to say that my company has expanded our trade show team, we are now a trade show agency. Do you need someone to get you leads at trade shows? Are you tired of spending thousands of dollars and the event was not successful for your company? Call us!

I went from being a one woman networker to close to 10 trained networkers who are specifically trained in lead generation! If you would like to apply as a networker in my company, DM me now here on LinkedIn and we will start the process!

I have also brought on an in-house photographer for my clients to use for their shows if they choose to do so, plus a promotional items team.

The service that my company provides is making sure that every detail for the day of the show is covered. We plan the goals for the show, the roles for each team member, we provide salespeople to learn your company and bring people into your booth, we make sure all promotional items are ordered and are unique for that company, we create the pitch, and most importantly we create a solid structure for the day to allow us to succeed in getting the most leads for your company.

The TRAC team!

This past month, I took a trip down to Lakewood with my assistant to meet with the wonderful TRAC team. We have been working on their exhibit for the past 2 months and the show is tomorrow! I am so grateful to Nissi Merenstein for connecting us. Thank you Nissi!

I also want to publicly thank my repeat customer, Gilad Freimann . You are such a pleasure to work with and I enjoyed this past week's amazon event! I am so amazed that we beat our lead record. This show we got Gilad over 200 quality leads in one day! I look forward to doing many more show with you!

It was so nice meeting Abigail Schindler !

To bring it all together, I would not have been able to do the show without the use of my legs, arms, eyes, ears, and my whole entire body! Thank you Hashem for gifting me with everything you have given me.

Right now I would like you to stop reading and take out a piece of paper:

Now, write down 5 things you are grateful for. If you would like to share them in the comment section of this post, I would really appreciate it!

Now, for this new month, which symbolizes planting seeds, I want to encourage you to write down one thing that you will plant this month. No, I do not mean an actual vegetable seed, I mean a business seed. What are you going to do now that will help grow your company in the next year? Remember trees and plants take a long time to grow. In order for them to survive, you must water them. So too with the seed you are about to plant, make sure to water it often and consistently so that it doesn’t die.

I wish you so much luck and success in this new month and I ask that if you know anyone who can benefit from my services, LinkedIn or trade show management/networker, please send them my way! Thank you in advance,

- Malya Adina Feivelson
