Premas Biotech announces formation of Vaccine Development Advisory Board with onboarding of Global Experts

GURUGRAM, INDIA – April 21, 2022 – Premas Biotech announced today the formation of its Vaccine Development Advisory Board to advise, strategize and bring forth novel vaccines from various modalities. The Advisory Board consists of highly experienced and key opinion leaders representing all aspects of vaccine research and development. Each member has dozens of publications, patents and international recognition to their name.

The three new members of the Vaccine Development Advisory Board are (i) Dr. Tony D'Amore, PhD. MBA, Consultant Process Biologics and Ex-Vice President, Product Research & Development, Sanofi Pasteur, (ii) Dr. Gautam Sanyal, Principal Consultant & Founder, Vaccine Analytics, LLC, and (iii) Professor Suman Das, Associate Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Centre.

Dr. Tony D’Amore has a demonstrated history of working in the pharmaceuticals industry. Skilled in Verification and Validation (V&V), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Vaccines, Validation, and GMP. Strong product management professional with a PhD focused in Biochemistry from the University of Windsor. Dr. D’Amore retired as the Vice President, Product Research & Development, Sanofi Pasteur, after 28 years of distinguished service. He has been part of a number of vaccine initiatives.

Dr. Gautam Sanyal is a highly respected vaccine researcher with a career that has spanned over 38 years, in various academic and pharmaceutical companies, like Mayo Clinic, Merck, Astra Zeneca, Medimmune, OSDD. He is now the founder of Vaccine Analytics Consultancy. His core expertise is scientific and strategic leadership in drug discovery, and pre-clinical, clinical and product development, discovery and development of biotherapeutics and vaccines, viral and oncology disease areas. Dr. Sanyal has a strong track record of developing analytical and biophysical characterization methods that led to the delivery of biologics and vaccines into clinical trials, regulatory CMC submissions and approvals. He has built and led biochemistry, protein science, bioanalytics, protein formulation, biophysics and structural biology departments within the pharmaceutical industry, aimed at characterizing the structure, folding and function of both therapeutic and target proteins. Dr. Sanyal has a PhD from the University of Virginia, USA.

Professor Suman Das, is the Associate Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Centre, Nashville, Tennessee, United States, He completed his PhD from ICGEB, New Delhi, India. He then moved to the United States and held multiple positions at NIH, Emory University School of Medicine, over 10 years at the J. Craig Venter Institute, prior to joining his present position. Professor Das has significant experience in the field of virology and is considered a thought leader in his areas of research and expertise.
