However, even seasoned candidates can benefit from preparation, especially when answering common questions like, "Tell me about yourself." This question often results in rambling answers, which can be avoided with proper coaching.
Crafting the Right Response The recruiter should guide the candidate to provide information beyond their resume, focusing on qualities or experiences that highlight their suitability for the role. For example, a candidate might say, "One of the things not on my resume that describes me is my competitiveness."
Engaging the Interviewer Candidates should be encouraged to ask insightful questions such as:
