Progress on Paper

It all started back during my first semester at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. My family like most of India is a middle class family too. We had debts, quite a lot. Being an online semester and I got to know that my father has quite a good strength of teaching. I tried to convince him to conduct online classes for TNPSC. We worked a lot. Did quite a lot of digital marketing and social platform building under the name NICE IAS ACADEMY. We managed to get about 80 admissions for our first batch, giving us about 10 Lakhs in revenue of which we just hit the break-even point. We conducted classes online from 7pm-9pm daily. My father used to rush home, I had people to set up cameras and they used to stream it. I hired few other staffs for other subjects. But I understood hiring quality people was quite hard. I managed to satisfy my father's expectation of quality and was able to hire just 2 staffs. But the exam kept getting postponed due to covid. A year later, I decided that we change our go to market strategy. Inspired by a problem that I faced in real life when I used to miss classes and the professor wouldn't provide recorded videos at times. I understood the need for videos.

Within a week, I announced a free online batch(Rudra) and within the next 5 days I got about 12,000 registrations and 3,000 people in waiting list for the class. I had to end the registration and I started conducting classes over Zoom, using about 4 phones to stream and one to record and the setup cost me about 1.5 Lakhs. I uploaded these videos to YouTube Private Videos and sold access to video at Rs.2000 and managed to make revenues of about 13 Lakhs. I managed to hire about 3 more new staffs. I launched special batches of about 30 and 45 people, namely Bhishma and Arjuna making a revenue of about 40 Lakhs from these batches. As of today, I have hit around 70 Lakhs in revenue with an established office setup and studio setup at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

I am now looking for team to take this up to the next level.
