Pumps application in mud-watershield tunnels

The main pumps used in mud-water shield tunnels are H-type heavy-duty slurry pumps and G (H)-type gravel pumps, which are used for slurry discharge conditions in shield tunneling projects. The conveying medium is mud, which is mainly a mixture of cut soil and soil residue and muddy water.

H-type heavy-duty slurry pumps are mostly used for slurry inlet pumps. This type of slurry pump has a double-layer shell structure. The inner flow-passing parts are made of replaceable high-chromium wear-resistant metal, and the outer pressure-bearing parts are made of high-strength cast iron. You can choose direct coupling drive or belt drive.

The G (H) type gravel pump has a single-layer shell structure. The flow-passing parts that contact the slurry are made of high-chromium wear-resistant metal. The direction of the pump outlet can be rotated at will. Considering the construction space in the tunnel, it is generally driven by a direct drive with a variable frequency motor. .
