The Purpose of Purpose
As your business gets more connected, how can you choose priorities?
Focusing on a shared Purpose will inform and define every decision you and your company needs to make and re-make.
You could call it a "Get Real" philosophy... but it's more of a method for problem-solving and taking more considered actions. This image combines what I have learned is required to let trust flourish with your internal/external teams. "Collective Action" and a culture of "Safe Debate" is critical to more successfully acknowledging true capabilities and potential contributions. Only then can you collaborate without bias, blame/credit, fear or greed as you build/evolve your business, products, services, everything.
Of course alignment of Sales and Marketing is key to your ultimate goal of increasing your revenue. But making this a company-wide initiative will foster a more efficient and proud organization and market ecosystem of employees, investors, clients, marketing partners, tech vendors, parents, cool aunts and uncles ... it takes a village!
New technology in the right hands (like the community around the TruthRefinery.com) is part of the solution. But we do need to stay ahead of the robots and make sure they work FOR us.
Your Purpose will inspire a broader perspective of who you can impact deeper inside your existing network and NEW opportunities in adjacent markets and relationships.
This focus will not limit your reach. As you understand the real feelings and needs of like-minded people, you will discover even more related possibilities, ideas, services, and partners.
