But what is the purpose of purpose and why is it that we are hard wired to this navigational North Star?
In this edition of Phoenix Rising we're going to explore those questions.
In doing that you'll get the chance to experiment with becoming the hero of your own life's story and experience what it will be like to look back upon your own version of a fulfilling and rewarding life well and truly lived.

Why was purpose selected for as an evolutionary trait from the beginings of conscious life on this planet?
For our ancestors it was about survival... but look at what we have done with it since!
The Hero's Story
Once upon time, in a land not so far from here, there dwelt the hero of this little tale.
But our hero didn’t know they were the hero.
The story they told them self was very different to the one I share with you now.
They lived from day to day in their full on full up life, a bit part player in the lives of others, in a world over which they had little or no control.
Life was so full they never realised that they were the author of their own life’s story. And so allowed others to write the plot lines for them, and let that narrative repeat itself over and over again.
The same story was always told but could never hold the truth.
Until one day they came across a short story… this story in fact.
It shared a secret code hidden within the billions of stories we humans have shared with each other over our 30,000 years as conscious beings.
It was the same code that unlocked the humbling achievements of all those extraordinary human beings we admire so much. A code known simply as ‘The Story Arc’.
It’s simple four-part formula reveals not only how to achieve those extraordinary goals you set yourself, but most valuably, how to find the life you would love to live in the life you live today:
Hero
Quest
Challenge
Grow
HERO
You are the hero of your own life story and your fingertips are on the keyboard of what happens next. As the hero you have within you all the resources you need, when you discover how to access them.
QUEST
The hero’s story is your quest and the more clearly you see it, the easier it is to find.

CHALLENGE
Every quest must have its challenges and the bigger they are the more lessons you get to learn.
GROW
Every challenge is a chance to grow. And as you grow you become better able to fulfil the real purpose in being the hero of your own life’s story… to help others grow too.
So, as you look toward the untold story of the rest of your life, I invite you to become the hero of that as yet untold tale.
Because you are the hero of your own life’s story, and that story is your quest, and all the challenges you face along the way are there to help you grow.
So flows The Story Arc, the not so secret code that enables all of us to live our lives all the way through to their happy ever after.
The Path That Leads You There
In this deep dive guided reflection we take a wander through subconscious fields of thoughts and see the shadow shapes of memories, blowing in the breeze.
