QLS Elections
Some final thoughts for those who haven’t voted in the QLS Elections yet.

First, please take the opportunity to vote so that the result is truly representative – Your Vote, Your Voice, Your Vision.
Second, vote for candidates with a diversity of skills and experience, including corporate governance and probity. Vote for experienced councillors as well as for balanced renewal and fresh eyes – Vote for Oversight.
Third, vote for candidates from a variety of practice areas and modes of practice who can deal with the many and varied day-to-day issues which will confront the profession and the Council over the life of this Council – Vote for Insight.
Forth, vote for candidates with the long-term vision to underpin the flourishing of all facets of our profession well into the future, despite what winds of change may come – Vote for Foresight.
Finally, vote for Presidential candidates who will manage the profession’s Government, media and community stakeholders as admirably as Presidents Potts and Smyth have done in recent years. The credibility of our public personae is critical to the maintenance of our social mandate – Vote for Good Law, Good Lawyers and Good Advocacy
