Senior Quality Assurance Specialist
Reports to: Quality Assurance Manager
Location: Main Office
1. Job Objective
The Senior QA Specialist has the responsibility of ensuring that the Quality Management System is properly implemented, and maintained in EDC.
The Senior QA Specialist shall ensure that the QMS requirements and regulations are properly set, and accordingly implemented across all EDC departments.
2. Responsibilities & Accountabilities
The Senior QA Specialist is responsible for the following:
• Executing the internal QHSE audits, preparing the audit reports, and reporting the findings to the management/ concerned parties.
• “After fulfilling the required lead auditor training”.
• Participating and handling the external audits from the certification body companies, and following up on closure of audit Non-conformances.
• Participating in QHSE audits by the Client(s), when applicable.
• Executing the annual QHSE audit plan.
• Handling and participating in the reported investigations/Non-conformances, that are related to product and service, and any raised quality with the concerned parties, following company procedures and external regulatory requirements in cooperation with all company departments.
• Ensuring that the company adheres to all applicable laws and regulations, including health and safety, environmental protection, and consumer rights, by ensuring that the company has adequate resources to meet its obligations.
• Keeping the QA Manager updated on all QA matters.
• Checking that the handling and distribution of documents, particularly QMS-related documents are carried out per EDC QMS requirements.
• Executing, developing, reviewing, and issuing QMS policies, procedures, and working instructions to ensure that they continue to meet evolving requirements of the oil & gas industry, legal requirements, and the client’s requirements.
• Preparing, participating, and executing the annual management review meeting to comply with international standards.
• Preparing prequalification and tender documents for current and potential Client(s).
• Representing the company in meetings, conferences, etc. as delegated by QA Manager.
• Carrying on other QA duties within the scope of this job description and the instructions from the QA Manager
3. Minimum Qualifications:
3.1 Educational Qualifications
• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree
• Two years of relevant experience
• Lead Auditor 9001:2015 certification and Practical knowledge of international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
