Quality over Quantity
Size isn't Everything
I was reading a post earlier today by Tim Rowe from his OOH Insider podcast which, to paraphrase, said the impact of a media engagement is more about the quality of the audience and not the quantity (Tim, I hope I did that justice). Basically, quality trumps quantity. I wholeheartedly agree.
What has seemingly gotten lost in a media landscape where programmatic scale has become the defacto lead on media plans, is who you are actually targeting and are you reaching them? Audience quality = Media efficiency. Yes, the old response is "Throw the wide net at lowest cost." But does that really work? Have you looked at what the actual cost of acquiring a customer is with that strategy? Not too even mention the battle against fraudulent traffic.
At Populus, our platform is designed for healthcare brands to find the direct target audience with 100% media efficiency and 100% brand safety in the most impactful media environment.
