Quidgest and Cascais Municipality win the “Equality and Inclusion” award at the Cities & Territories of the Future Awards by APDC

Quidgest (technology provider) and the Câmara Municipal de Cascais (promoter of the initiative) received the award for their joint work on the Cascais Social Charter – an interactive digital platform providing citizens with information on the equipment and social responses of the public, solidarity, and private-profit network available in the municipality of Cascais.

The award ceremony took place as part of the 33rd edition of the Congress of the Portuguese Association for the Development of Communications (APDC), this year under the theme "40 years Futurizing”.

QUIDGEST STRENGTHENS DATA PROTECTION IN SÃO TOMÉ AND PRÍNCIPE

It was with great pleasure that we welcomed, at Quidgest, José Manuel Macumbo Costa Alegre, President of the Agência Nacional de Protecção de Dados Pessoais (ANDP) of São Tomé and Príncipe. During this visit, there was an opportunity to tour the Quidgest facilities and meet several team members involved in developing the Integrated Management System (Finance, HR, and Data Protection areas) currently in progress.

Quidgest's system will support this São Toméan agency in its primary role: controlling and overseeing #compliance with #legal and regulatory provisions regarding personal data protection, in strict respect for human rights and the freedoms and guarantees enshrined in the Constitution and other #laws of the country.

This year, we celebrated Quidgest's 36th anniversary with an outdoor escape room in a box! Divided into 13 teams, we were challenged to solve encrypted messages, mathematical puzzles, and riddles to open not just one – but several mysterious boxes.
