Réflexions: Pairing Nature & Craftsmanship with today's creative minds
Three ambassadors gathered around a creative project
Meet our three talented ambassadors who embarked on a unique journey of immersion at Lallier. Sophie Sellu, an award-winning artist who pushes the boundaries of woodworking and design; Marie Urban - Le Febvre, a Perfumer-Creator who believes in the emotional power of scents; Gregory Marchand, a Michelin-starred Chef who suggests unique dishes inspired by nature and its spontaneity, alongside Lallier’s cellar master, Dominique Demarville. Each ambassador brings their distinct perspective and genuine love for nature, craftsmanship, and creativity, resulting in an unforgettable collaboration with Réflexions programme.
Through the observation of the diversity and singularity of Champagne’s nature and terroir, our ambassadors were able to understand Réflexion’s signature atmospheres of purity and freshness. “I loved hearing the history and learning more about how nature is used in such a sensitive way.” said Sophie Sellu.
They learned about the complementarity of our touches: intensity and depth, represented by expertise and winemaking techniques to craft Réflexion cuvées while preserving the nature around it. The ambassadors were guided by our experts to connect with nature and immerse themselves in the smells, colors and textures of the vineyard. They gain an understanding about the process of growth, pruning and cultivation techniques.
The ambassadors shared their emotions and exchanged about what they saw and what they experienced. It was also an opportunity to discuss their first “raw” ideas for their creative process that would follow: “Nature and seasonality are our main sources of creativity” said Gregory Marchand.

A journey of inspiration and creativity
During the immersion, the ambassadors experienced a deeper understanding of our winemaking philosophy and a greater appreciation for the natural environment that is so integral to the craft. They were inspired by the vineyards’ diversity and singularity and were amazed by how Lallier’s expertise and winemaking process complemented nature.
The experience was an opportunity to share our philosophy and inspire creativity in the ambassadors’ creations.
Thinking collectively, we develop new visions and ideas.
“As I arrived in Aÿ, and discovered the vineyards, the first smell I perceived was the smell of the earth, the soil: rich, earthy, damp, mossy, dark, authentic, ALIVE !”, Marie Urban- Le Fèbvre about her immersion in Äy. A unique opportunity of discovery, learning, and inspiration, all guided by our philosophy of nature.
We cannot wait to see how this experience will inspire our ambassadors’ upcoming project, which we will be excited to reveal in early October. Stay tuned on our social media platforms for updates on this exciting collaboration!
