GRAPPLE THE MOMENT:HOW INDIA& USA MEDIA BURBED BIGOTRY,HATRED &RIGIDITY?HOW INDIA DITCHED USA?

1.      Dear readers the major causes of failure of post 9/11 new world are deemed to be startling and visibly convey sheer lack of vision, which strapped them to highly unbelievable face rubbing in South Asia & head on collision with ME /Gulf & other Fragile/least democratic States of the Africa and Asia in the past & later choosing Indians as their strategic partner. Reviewing the history in brief, which goes like this:-

  • Apartheid Moment. Racial segregation specifically: a former policy of segregation and political, social, and economic discrimination against the nonwhite majority in the Republic of South Africa. From 1948 to 1990 which is a permanent stigma over the conduct of western world. This move was indeed based on hatred against colored people?
  • Anti-Communist Move. In the United States, anti-communism came to prominence during the First Red Scare of 1919–1920. During the 1920s and 1930s, opposition to communism in Europe was promoted by conservatives, fascists, liberals, and social democrats. It ended in dissolution of Soviet Union in 1991.This kept east and west divided for 45 years. This move was also based on hatred against communist mainly focusing USSR&CHINA.
  • Islamphobia Move. This was a primitive minded animosity between conventional faith followers and so-called liberals all over the non-Muslim World. It lead to the elimination of colonial system, kingdoms, dictatorship and devastation of oil rich countries at the hand of the western powers mainly.
  • Owing to above three major engagements of hatred after the two World Wars lot many territorial &wars of interests surfaced, like Vietnam, Korea, Arab –Israel, Iran-Iraq ,USSR-Afghanistan followed by cold war and eventually the incident of 9/11,followed by USA 40 years of suppression or occupation of Afghanistan.
  • The moment Al-Qaida emerged as symbol of international terror, US in sheer hurry threatening Pakistan of worse consequences landed in Afghanistan. Here two very dissimilar Nations USA & India collaborated to snub Pakistan for being the first Nuclear Muslim states and Iran as potential nuclear power.
  • Meanwhile Russia and China needed to be pinned down in Asia. The best solution was the selection of India as their proxy in Afghanistan & let India keep Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, China, Russia and Central Asian States entangled in their own regional conflicts, domestic turmoil and remain under US sanctions (IMF, FATF, WB shackles). What a dream, which ended in colossal damage of Indian credibility and loss of face for USA owing to failure of Indian RAW intelligence gathering. Not only that Afghan leadership under the garb of Indian/US restoration of peace, got very badly exposed and ruined the history of Afghans besides glorifying Taliban and Pakistan goodwill for India as next door neighbor.
  • Indian think tanks got mad and forgot about the emergence of Global Interconnectivity (Social Media), Environmental Changes (Covid Pandemic) and Market Forces (Economic Might of the developed Nation, Rising visionary leadership in south Asia and a very thick headed Indian Leadership ).Eventually India bruised its head with their own hands.
  • Indian Foreign Policy got stuck in the delusion of we are the next regional power or the conqueror of Afghanistan& Kashmir. India filled Dubai with their glamour models and business tycoons and promoted Bollywood to the highest recreational /amusement industry forgetting 1.3 billon people facing poverty, suffering corona and deprived of Human rights?

2.      Had there been no Donald Trump/Joe Bidden there might have been no withdrawal of US/NATO from Afghanistan. With the US withdrawal, Beijing can offer what Kabul needs most: political impartiality and economic investment. Afghanistan in turn has what China most prizes: opportunities in infrastructure and industry building areas in which China’s capabilities are arguably unmatched and access to over $1 trillion in untapped mineral deposits, including critical industrial metals such as lithium, iron, copper and cobalt. One of China’s current long-term strategic investment plans is the Belt-and-Road Initiative, an effort to finance and build infrastructure across the region. And Afghanistan until now has been an attractive but a missing piece of the enormous puzzle. If China were able to extend the Belt-and-Road from Pakistan through to Afghanistan for example, with a Peshawar-to-Kabul motorway it would open up a shorter land route to gain access to markets in the Middle East. A new route through Kabul would also make India’s resistance to joining the Belt-and-Road less consequential. With China playing an increasing role in Afghanistan, India’s greatest fear is that China will turn a blind eye or even tacitly encourage a Pakistan instigated and Taliban supported resurgence of terrorism in Kashmir to discomfit India. Post the abrogation of Article 370 there are indications that a exasperated Pakistan is planning “something big” against India. China, which has expressed its own disapproval of the repeal of Article 370 may buy into Pakistan’s grand plan, to keep India in check as it has repeatedly stated. This “something big” may take the form of heightened terrorist activity in Kashmir in tandem with a mass uprising while a joint Pakistan-China assault seeks to decapitate Kashmir from India. India must be fully prepared to face such an extreme eventuality both mentally and militarily and be on guard on the domestic and external fronts.

3.    To begin with, India must effect a drastic change in its national psyche. India must approach the problem of increased terrorism in Kashmir with the confidence that they can gain the image lost in Afghanistan The cunning, appeasing attitude—the failure of Indian diplomacy—must be replaced by balanced and wiser determination that India’s sovereignty and regional conflicts  are inseparable ?Instead of trying to ingratiate itself with the Taliban by hankering for early talks as urged by several Indian commentators, India must lay down the ground rules for interaction with the Taliban. If the Taliban are serious about nurturing political and economic ties with India then they must provide proof of their sincerity by detaching itself from the Let and ensuring that Afghanistan does not become a safe haven for anti-Pakistan or pro-Kashmiri terrorist groups. The message must be clear: violence, fundamentalism and ethnic cleansing cannot be a part of a secular democratic country and will not be tolerated. This is a message which must be reemphasized to the political fraternity in the Valley as well especially to the likes of former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti who had the temerity to threaten India with a Taliban like situation in the aftermath of the Taliban victory in Afghanistan. In a speech to PDP workers, she had warned the Centre “to not test us” and “understand the situation, and see what is happening in your neighborhood,” referring to the Taliban victory in Afghanistan.

4.     It may also be compared that Pakistani think tanks have been more visionary and their assessment and Foreign Policy overtures have been well received by the international community whereas as Indian think tanks are fuming with frenzy and suggest India to nuke Pakistan? What a shame? Pakistan has gone a step ahead in making the world feel concerned for Afghanistan at this hour of uncertainity and restore Taliban’s blocked funds and Humanitarian Assistance. No doubt nothing seems more settled and calm than the Taliban’s diplomacy, conduct, social behavior & future hopes. Isn’t it remarkable?
