Real Estate Investment "POP" of 100 million in Porto
It is called POP (Porto Office Park) the new office complex that is being built by the Violas Ferreira Holding (HVF) in the Boavista area of Porto, in an investment of 100 million euros. It occupies the grounds of a former STCP bus collection station and is expected to be completed in October next year.
It is presented as POP and it is by this name that its promoter wants the new mega office development of Porto to be known. An acronym for Porto Office Park, it began to be built in February and occupies the grounds of the former bus collection station of STCP Carcereira, delimited by Sidónio Pais Avenue and João Araújo Correia, Tenente Valadim and Pedro Hispano streets, in the Boavista area , in Porto.
This is an investment of around 100 million euros and is expected to be completed by the end of September, beginning of October next year.
The office building, at the beginning of construction, occupies the old facilities of STCP, delimited by Avenida Sidónio Pais and João Araújo Correia streets, Lieutenant Valadim and Pedro Hispano, and the land was bought from Empril.
With 31,400 m2 of above ground ABC and 29 thousand m2 of GLA, the project includes two buildings of 15,544 m2 above ground (RC + 8 floors) and 590 parking spaces in basement, as well as restaurant, gymnasium and three paddle tennis courts, which are developed in three small buildings. There will also be a 150-seat auditorium and one or two coffee shops in the main buildings. The project exclusively for offices, has an area per floor of 1850 m2, areas that are currently not in Porto, and signature of the well-known office of architects and designers Broadway Malyan, which is currently finalizing the architecture project. As well as the lining of the building it will be made of glass and aluminum blades with shading system.
