The Labor Department Statistics Confirm This Difficulty
Due to the shortage of key employees including engineers, wages are rising quickly for most positions. The most recent figures from BLS point to the average hour’s earnings growing 9 cents in August to $32.36.
Moreover, another key employment metric, the labor participation rate, also rose 3% to 62.4%. This means that more workers are being employed.
