Reflecting on 2024 and Building a Healthier Future

Welcome to the last newsletter of 2024! Last year was a year filled with plenty of growth and learning. One of the most rewarding aspects was the opportunity to bridge the gap between patients, physicians, and the healthcare system as a whole. Whether it’s been helping individuals become the CEOs of their own health or educating them about innovative, alternative care options, the focus this year has been on empowering people to take charge of their well-being.

I have also been concentrating on starting conversations that matter, inspiring action, and laying the groundwork for long-term change in the healthcare system. As we step into the new year, I feel we still have a lot of work to do—yet I am optimistic about making a difference, and I’m confident that together, we can make meaningful changes to improve how patients receive care.

It wasn’t that long ago when I was nervous about publicly sharing my opinions on social media. I was afraid of the backlash—especially from my colleagues—but I’ve been overwhelmed by positive feedback from almost everybody who has supported my mission to change how healthcare is administered. From surgeons, general practitioners, and other healthcare professionals, I’ve received countless messages thanking me for bringing such important topics to the forefront of the conversation, highlighting how truly broken the system is, and for empowering people with the latest in healthcare information.

By advocating for these conversations have resonated with audiences online and in person, sparking new interest in holistic and preventative care. By continuing to foster these conversations and providing the tools and resources necessary for empowerment, we’re not just improving outcomes—we’re redefining the relationship between patients and their healthcare providers.

HyperCharge’s Impact on the Community

This year, we’ve opened a new HyperCharge™ Performance, Recovery, & Longevity Clinic and Hypercharge Health, which I’m incredibly proud of. It has impacted the community by giving new opportunities to people who suffer from injuries, chronic health problems, and individuals concerned about their general wellness. By providing access to new, state-of-the-art treatments and equipment, HyperCharge is ensuring patients are given the tools and resources needed for them to return to a healthy, active lifestyle.

The HyperCharge management and clinical team has been incredible, and I cannot thank them enough for all the hard work and dedication they have shown this year as we grow. It has been the biggest year for HyperCharge yet, and everyone has worked tirelessly and made sacrifices to ensure our patients get the treatment they deserve. While often I am the face of the company, that just means that there are so many people who are working behind the scenes to ensure we impact not just our patients who walk through our doors, but people everywhere who are needlessly suffering, giving them the information and education they need to find the right treatment for them.

A Tragic Reminder of Healthcare System Failings

The shocking and tragic death of Brian Thompson, CEO of UnitedHealthcare, has cast a spotlight on the deep frustrations and systemic flaws within the healthcare system. His death is a devastating loss for his family and a stark reminder of the mounting tensions surrounding healthcare accessibility and insurance practices.

Violence is never the solution, and it cannot be tolerated or justified. However, this tragic event is a wake-up call to address the systemic issues that plague the healthcare system. One of the core issues is the bureaucratic hurdles that patients must navigate to receive care. Even in cases where patients clearly qualify for treatment, there are unnecessary delays, which can lead to worsening conditions, chronic pain, and avoidable suffering. The process has become so entangled in red tape that it erodes trust between patients, providers, and insurers. Hopefully, we learn from this tragic event, and we can all move forward and work towards improving our healthcare system. I will continue to try to educate my patients and the public on how to navigate this broken system and help them to be the CEO of their own health.

Keynote Speech at the Annual Venus AI National Conference

One of the highlights of 2024 was the honor of being invited to deliver the keynote speech at the prestigious Venus National Conference. (The Wolf of Wall Street, Jordan Belfort, was a previous speaker!) This event is an amazing platform to discuss groundbreaking advancements and the future of the industry. The conference will emphasize the use of AI—or what Venus calls "Aesthetic Intelligence"—as a huge driving force in the aesthetic field.

My keynote speech will focus on the science behind the revolutionary uses of pulsed electromagnetic frequency (PEMF) technology in the industry. While this technology has long been recognized for its therapeutic applications in fat loss, muscle tone, and body contouring, PEMF offers incredible benefits to both patients and providers. Just as importantly, I will be discussing how a sales team can successfully approach physicians with newer technologies and help them understand why they should consider integrating these world-class modalities into their practices.

Looking Ahead to 2025

The year ahead promises exciting opportunities to build on the successes of 2024, with new initiatives, collaborations, and innovations paving the way for meaningful progress. A major milestone in 2025 will be the release of my book Wellness at the Speed of Light, which will be packed with my experience, insights, and advice for anyone looking to take control of their health. I have been slowly and passionately working on this book throughout this year, and I’m excited to see it finally come to fruition.

The year will also bring more opportunities to engage audiences with many new speaking opportunities. By sharing my knowledge and sparking dialogue, I aim to reach a broader audience and continue raising awareness about critical gaps in healthcare.

The journey ahead is filled with opportunities to make a difference, and I’m excited for what’s ahead. I will be taking a short break after Christmas but will be back in the new year, feeling recharged and ready to continue educating people on the tools and treatments they need for their own health.

Lastly, I want to wish you and your family a safe, happy, and healthy holiday and New Year!
