Reflecting on the RASA CALM Summit 2024 in NYC!
Just returned from an inspiring few days in New York, where my colleague Martin Lukan and I had the privilege of representing Deutsche Telekom at RASA’s CALM Summit 2024. Together, we showcased our AI-driven service desk assistant, CSD Chatbot, built on RASA’s CALM platform. This event was more than a presentation—it was an invaluable exchange of insights with industry peers committed to the future of conversational AI.
Before the summit, I had the opportunity to share our journey at a RASA customers event, sharing how we achieved a fully operational chatbot in six months. This solution not only integrates with multiple partner systems but has enabled us to replace the traditional service desk hotline with an automated chatbot, a major milestone in AI-powered customer support!
At the summit, Martin took the stage to dive deeper into the technical challenges we faced and the solutions we developed on our path to a scalable and efficient AI solution. His session sparked several insightful discussions with other RASA clients, who were eager to learn more about our approach—and equally generous in sharing their own experiences.
Takeaways: This summit highlighted the rapid evolution of conversational AI and the vital role of shared innovation. The exchanges we had will certainly shape our next steps and future goals for the CSD chatbot. Overall, an enriching experience and a huge thank you to the RASA team for bringing together such a vibrant community!
