Reflecting on Two Years of Growth and Shop #2 is Coming to NYC

We recently celebrated our two-year anniversary at our Maiden branch in NoMad, Manhattan. It's a moment of reflection for the journey since 2019. Initially, our intention was to open three branches in quick succession, however, as we all know, the world had other plans for us. Yet here we are again, taking up a new space in Midtown. It’s time for us to establish ourselves as a real player in the city.

Our mission at Chaps & Co is to transform the regular chore of grooming, into an enjoyable experience. Our regular Chaps customers affirmed that we have achieved just that. They often comment on the friendly, relaxing service experience and of course, those quality haircuts.  

That said, as with many businesses, we've encountered our fair share of challenges along the way. If there's one lesson from the past couple of years to carry forward, it's that bad hires are costly on several levels. They can tarnish a company's reputation both internally and externally, permanently damaging relationships within the team and customers.

Today, we proudly boast the best team since inception, rich in culture, talent, and experience, shaping the future of our business. In a short time, they have built a reputation on delivering a consistent high-quality, customer service. Like many businesses, we learned the hard way, but our experiences have shaped us into who we are. I've always thrived on learning experiences, perhaps more than on successes, although we've had plenty of those too, too many to name, and wouldn't be where we are today without consistently excelling in what we do. I extend a special thank you to the Chaps NY Team who have overcome some of the toughest challenges with dedication and resilience.
