Reflection
It always begin with a thought
But not just any random thought
A thought of purpose that brings unease
Of what is versus what could be
That leads to questions that beget more questions
It starts with a look, a smile
A recognition of knowing that look
Knowing what that person is thinking or feeling
As you've had those some thoughts and feelings, too
It's the act, that one small step that leads to action
That takes us out of our apathy and melancholy
Finding purpose and a renewed vision for life...of hope
A small bud blossoming forth
Truth and beauty ends when hope is lost
When you've given up without even a start
Feeling you'll fail anyway so why worry
Our doubts are traitors so don't give in
Fight the good fight, the only fight there is and be not in a hurry
