Registration is now open for my new Community Building Accelerator

A colleague recently attended a conference that featured one of the biggest names in its space as a keynote speaker. It was a "Big Get!"

This should have been a moment of triumph for the event producers. After all, their headliner was the 800-pound gorilla in their industry.

But despite the big name, attendance was off. Way off.

This colleague has been a regular attendee at this conference, and this year, he told me that dozens of the people that he always looked forward to seeing chose not to go.

It's enough to make him question whether he should go next year.

So many conference producers think that the key to selling tickets is to land a big name speaker, or to book just the right sessions.

The truth is, my colleague goes to this conference every year, but he doesn't even look at the list of sessions until he gets on the plane.

He might drop into a few sessions, but he knows that he can find most of that information on the internet, so that's not why he goes to this conference.

He goes to see the people he knows.

And the fewer people he knows that are going, the less likely he is to attend. If his community isn't going to be there, he won't be there either.

Because this is the first time that I am offering this program, my Founding Members will get a discount of 60% off the normal price. But there's a limited number of seats, so if you're interested, you need to act fast. Registration closes on Thursday at 12n EDT / 9a PDT, and it won't open up again until 2025. When it does, the price will go up.
