A reminder to myself, and an invitation to you if curious
A little ditty and invitation to explore, to stop myself and us all feeling so s*itty at these incredibly challenging times :)
We have been conditioned not to feel, to over rely on our logical and linear thinking.
I am curious how the above lands with you, good, not so good and indifferent.
Are you in your head as you reflect and/or are you also allowing yourself to feel, to sense the pulsing in your neck, your throat, maybe somewhere else in your body.
It's a complex world!
Results have ALWAYS been an outcome and never the end in and of themselves, but it seems so back to front, most of the time!
Our linear thinking is great for myopic activity, process and maybe the odd bit of control!, but less so for complexity and reimagining.
We need all of our best thinking and doing, but would you agree that we need a LOT more reconnection (to ourselves, one another and to the systems that sustain us), creativity, innovation, intuition and co-creation at the humanistic level, not just technological level.
The wonderful thing is we all have all of the above in spades, the ability to leverage all aspects of our experience, it is just deeply hidden under a variety of cultural patterns such as fear, urgency, right to comfort, defensiveness, perfectionism and more.
What are you thinking and what are your thoughts?
Your Exploration Space
Would you value some sacred, emergent, expansive ‘you-space’ for a day or two?
See what Lisa had to say below after their experience and having giving themselves permission to slow down and reflect for just one day:

"As promised I wanted to give some feedback both to how I am feeling after the session and also on my experience of the day.
Today I woke up feeling really motivated and feeling very optimistic/positive. I really felt like I had worked through so much and have a clear plan for today moving forward.
I am very clear on what I need to do and feel I have the tools to do it but perhaps need the back up to ensure I stay in the state of mind I left with. With that you messaged offering the follow up sessions which instantly made me feel secure I had accountability. So overall I have spent the day very happy and very much looking forward.
To reflect on the day itself, I cannot express how much benefit it had for me. 'Holding Space' is no longer a phrase I need to question but more so one I would use moving forward and encouraging many to do. How would I explain it?
I would say holding space is allowing yourself to enter a free space in time that holds no judgement or expectation but allows you to explore, discuss, be in thought and process parts of your life that are perhaps causing you to have stopped and become stale or stuck rather than evolving and reaching a place you want to be.
I arrived at the session feeling like I was holding my breath on life, clutching a huge heavy bag of issues weighing me down in all areas of life. What the day gave me was the opportunity, guided and supported by you, to unpack that bag, discuss and break it down and then repack it almost labelled and organised to be able to start moving in the right direction and one I feel aligned with.
It was refreshing, hugely thought provoking and super beneficial. I drove away feeling like I'd left a huge amount of 'things' and thoughts that do not serve me and certainly have been restricting me behind and I was leaving with fresh eyes, optimism and a grounded realistic structure to make my life plan work."
Would you value a bit, or a lot, of what Lisa experienced recently?
