The secret? It's all about your choice and your focus. Let's break down the WAVE and learn how to ride its uplifting currents.

WAVE Components:

1. Wording: The power of words shapes identity, forms reality, sows virtue to nurture relationships, and turns truths into power. We will soon learn how to use words as tools to construct a reality brimming with positivity and potential.

2. Acting: The capacity to act and make impactful choices that align with your goals. Here we practice turning intention into action, and potential into power.

3. Visioning: The ability to envision a future filled with hope and possibilities. You will paint your future with the brush of imagination, sketching a path of bright prospects.

4. Emotion: Energy in motion. You will harness the feelings of joy, love, and peace as the wind beneath your wings, elevates your experience.

Riding the WAVE:

- Choosing to engage with each component of the WAVE sets the wheel in motion. It's all about allocating attention to the right wording, actionable steps, visionary thinking, and emotional awareness while leaving no room for unproductive, even destructive ones.

It's important to be aware that

  • there are 2 flying wheels, one belongs to the Kingdom of Darkness, leading to destruction, and the other is owned by the Kingdom of Light, leading to a life of abundance and fulfillment.

Envision a world unseen, where depression is not just an emotional battle but a spiritual skirmish. In this realm, four chains – destructive self-talk, overwhelming emotions, strained relationships, and functional impairments – intertwine, each a link forged by demonic forces. Let’s dive into this shadowy dance, armed with Biblical insights.

1. Destructive Self-Talk: The Deceiver's Whisper

- Demonic Role: Whispering lies of worthlessness, rejection, and unlovability, demonic forces aim to distort self-perception and worth.

John 8:44 - "When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies."        

- Vivid Description: Imagine a lying spirit, murmuring venomous thoughts, turning the mind into a battleground of self-doubt and self-devaluation.

2. Overwhelming Negative Emotions: The Torrent of Despair

- Demonic Role: Amplifying feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and guilt, these forces seek to drown the soul in an ocean of despair.

1 Peter 5:8 - "Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour."        

- Vivid Description: Picture waves of despair, crashing over, engulfing the spirit in darkness, leaving no room for light or hope.

3. Relationship Strains: The Divider’s Scheme

- Demonic Role: Sowing seeds of distrust and disdain, these entities aim to isolate and divide, breaking the bonds of support and love.

Ephesians 6:12 - "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against... the powers of this dark world."        

- Vivid Description: Envision a sinister force, pulling strings, severing ties of trust and affection, leaving one stranded in loneliness.

4. Functional Impairments: The Crippler’s Grip

- Demonic Role: Targeting the body and mind, impairing sleep, cognition, and memory, this tactic is designed to weaken and disorient.

2 Corinthians 12:7 - "A thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me."        

- Vivid Description: See a shadowy hand, pressing down, muddling thoughts, disrupting rest, turning daily functions into herculean tasks.



Conclusion:

In the depths of depression, it’s not just an internal turmoil; it’s a spiritual onslaught. These demonic chains, though invisible, are as real as the air we breathe, each twist and turn designed to keep souls bound in darkness.

Action Point:

- Today's Challenge: Identify these chains in your life. Bring them into the light of God's truth. Remember, the battle is won not by might, but by the Spirit (Zechariah 4:6). Recognize, resist, and reclaim your freedom in Christ.

No every 'self-talk' come from yourself. The destructive ones are likely projected by demons into your mind screen to steal, destroy and kill. Recognize it, reject it, replace it by the Truth--the words of God, that protect, heal and restore.
2 Corinthians 10:5: "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."        
Philippians 4:8: "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things."        

Part 2: Ascending on Wings of Hope: The Divine Dance of Liberation

Picture a realm where light overcomes darkness, where the chains of despair are broken by the forces of hope and truth. In this landscape, four pillars – constructive self-talk, overflowing positive emotions, nurturing relationships, and expanded abilities – are not just aspects of recovery; they're instruments of divine intervention. - Divine Role: Restoring and enhancing abilities, granting rest, focus, and clarity as signs of God’s enabling grace.

Isaiah 40:31 - "They who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength."        

- Vivid Description: See a soul, once weary, now soaring with renewed vigor, each ability a testimony to God’s restorative power, like an eagle taking flight.

2. Praise: Concentrate on God’s character (faithful, mercyful, generous, patient, kind, wise...) and recount His marvorous deeds (esp. your 1st hand experiences with God, the anchor of your faith), rather than your unfulfilled desires or requests.
3. Declaration: His unique calling to you, His specific promise to you. Your eternal status and rewards.
