A Summer of Sports

Summer is in full swing and it's a real season of sport. With major international events such as the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris, Euro 2024, Wimbledon and the Tour de France, there is plenty to look forward to.

But sport isn't just about winning; working together and having fun are just as important.

At Right To Play, we believe that sport and games are crucial for children's physical and mental development and for social change.

The RECAF-Jeu project in Senegal is a great example of this. Through sports and games, Right To Play gives children the opportunity to grow and develop in a safe, supportive environment.

Watch this video to find out more about how sport helps them feel brave, focused and confident.

Thanks to support from players of People’s Postcode Lottery, this vital funding will make a life-changing difference to children around the world through the power of play.

The funding raised by players of People’s Postcode Lottery will support Right To Play programmes across Africa, Asia and the Middle East, helping to ensure that children have access to quality education and receive critical psychosocial support
