The far-right’s attacks on our communities, our friends and our neighbours. 

This violent escalation on our streets has been bubbling up for years. It is a direct result of decades of racist rhetoric from the media, the Government and people in power, stoking the flames of racism and violence. We see it in our parliament, on our newspaper stands on our televisions and social media feeds. Anti-refugee, anti-Muslim, anti-migrant language and sentiment poisons people's minds and spills onto our streets.

The game is up. We can't go on like this. We will not accept them using their platforms to put racialised people in danger.  

No more racism in parliament, no more racism in the media, no more racism anywhere. End racist rhetoric, end racist riots. Add your name to our call now.

Whenever this hideous violence and hatred erupts, we see people like you stepping forward.  

We see you stepping into the streets, stopping raids, deportations and violent attacks. We see you protesting. We see you online, challenging hateful and racist comments. We see you refusing to be silenced in your support for refugees. We see you welcoming people into your lives, your homes, your communities.

we will be working directly with people who have been targeted by these violent attacks, and we will continue our work to change the systems that dehumanise people seeking safety.
