Robin's Diary

Why do we play the blame game?

Whilst looking back to learn from our mistakes helps, it can also make us too negative, which doesn’t really help. If everything was always perfect, it would be very difficult or impossible to find opportunities to do better. I doubt we can ever look back and not see something we could have done better, and that’s what gives us hope that if we can cut these out then life or business etc will be better.

What has gone has gone, we can’t turn the clock back, and, in most cases, at the time, we were doing what we thought was best! Hindsight is a wonderful thing, and, if I had it, like most, I would just know next week’s lottery winning numbers and wouldn’t have any worries!

Look for the opportunities, take the positives, don’t get yourself down with the past, it’s gone, it’s happened, it’s too late.

"You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending."— C.S. Lewis
