A Rock Star Walks Into a 'Tech Nerd' Conference

"You're a rock star among tech nerds in A/E/C."

Yesterday, Jason Kunkel, a Building Design Technology Expert in Architecture, shared this with me.

Made my day!😎😎

Jason and I met in Dallas during my Digital Built Environment Institute Conference keynote.

DBEI founder Wesley Benn deeply understands what his audiences need — no-nonsense insights and inspiration to boost confidence and improve human communication.

Wes and the event organizers wanted more than a typical scientific keynote.

There were plenty of discussions and panels on cloud computing, VDC, Autodesk, and renderings.

However, it was crucial to first address the industry-wide people skills "elephant in the room."

➡️The elephant in most A/E/C offices is the constant struggle with awkward communication. (We're addressing it Jan. 14-16th in our new Top Tier Communicator online training.)

Isn't it a relief knowing that sub-par soft skills aren't a life sentence for the highly proficient?

People skills may sound like BS or a non-priority, but here's my point:

A/E/C needs the practical application of brain science (BS) that leads to lasting transformation.

My no-nonsense approach includes actionable, repeatable processes.

Clients tell me when their emerging leaders have these tools, they gain new energy.

They help generate business, show up boldly, and build trust.🎯

I love that Jason thinks of me as a rock star among tech nerds.

🤩My passion lies in combining Brain Science (BS) with communication and business development—a perfect blend for servant leadership.🤩

You (or emerging leaders on your staff) may be ready to reach new levels with clear communication and confidence.

Reach out to elevate your teams' training in 2025.

I've got your back.🎆
