Mark 4:17 And they have no root in themselves, but endure for a while; then, when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately they fall away...

If you play a game of horse 2 times a year, does that make you a seasoned basketball player? NO! If that's the only training you received and you were picked to play in a college basketball national championship game you would not fare very well! That is the same with your faith. Just because you say you're a Christian, wear a cross on your neck and have a fish on your car doesn't mean you are solid in your faith. It's the time in the word, the time in church, the talking with other believers, the prayer and the studying that keep you rooted when times get tough and Satan attacks. Don't take your faith for granted. Put in the effort to build the roots you need and have a blessed weekend!

Amen! It’s not always the easiest road, the simplest way, or the most popular choice to follow Christ. In fact it will be hard, complicated and you might seem like you are alone, but you are not! He is the Way, the Truth and the the Life. Thanks for today’s excellent message!
