AI Will Make Us More Human
During the pandemic, we moved online and we coped. We adapted. The return to normality is maybe not as fast as expected. While we leapt at the chance to go to a bar and chat with our mates face to face, remote working has many fans. We have dinner delivered in. Shop online. Speak with our doctor.
Hollywood trumpets the idea that robots will take over the world. Big tech companies shove AI in our face. In our home. Driving our car. Choosing our tunes.
What role will we play in an automated world?
AI has its limitations! Yep. Said it. There’s stuff it just can’t do.
These AI shortcomings will illuminate the elements that make us human. The nuts and bolts that artificial intelligence will never be able to replicate. Manage a team. Provide emotional support. Be inspired by a smell or sound. Build a relationship.
How can these two powerhouses share the same space? Collaboration. Humans and AI working hand in hand. Completing each other.
Businesses are hungry to keep up with competitors. But adopting AI randomly, without a plan, and expecting an acceleration of efficiency won’t work. Successful implementation needs clear communication - between humans - to appreciate their challenges, fears, needs. Because it won’t just be money lost if there’s no strategy. It’ll be unhappy people too. It’ll be chaos.
Over time, AI will be more and more involved. For it to be successful, humans must play a big part. The win will be a combination of the best of humans - creativity, empathy, intuition, resilience - and the best of AI - speed, efficiency, accuracy, logic.
Together we are one!
Navigating NetSuite Integrations With 8Quanta
Following our recent partnership with 8QUANTA - a leading finance consulting firm - we scored an interview with CEO and Founder, Gerald Hines. Up for discussion were the challenges finance teams face with NetSuite integrations.
“NetSuite customers have the need to both save time and improve accuracy. Without Rossum AI and 8Quanta’s financial expertise these challenges can become too complex.”
“This partnership will improve our NetSuite customers’ accounting and finance experience. The areas of initial improvement will be in automation of vendor bills. This will save more than 50% of the data entry time.“

How To Identify A Duplicate Invoice
Duplicate invoices can strike any business. Malicious or accidental, businesses dealing with high volumes of invoices can suffer huge financial losses down to double payments.
25% of AP professionals say duplicate invoices are a major pain point. An issue that’s getting worse, as Gen AI makes it easier to generate copies of invoices.
We have the solution…
Invoice fraud is big business. With lost revenue and reputational damage likely, it’s time to tackle duplicate invoices head on.
While fraudsters exploit the likes of Gen AI to execute invoice fraud, the magic bullet is the same technology. Automating accounts payable processes with AI document processing will increase security and flag duplicate invoices.
Time to be proactive... We single out duplicate invoices!

Authenticity In The Age Of AI
Christopher Penn Podcast
Christopher Penn is co-founder and chief data scientist of Trust Insights, a company specialized in analytics and AI. With so much AI-generated content, it’s confusing as to what’s real. What to believe. Chris dives into the evolving world of AI and what it means for authenticity.
Three categories of authenticity - origin, intent, experience…
Included in the podcast are the results from an MIT study in which three versions of content were shown to multiple groups - 100% human generated, human + machine, 100% machine generated. Which raised the question, does authenticity matter?
Oh, there’s a bit about politicians that don’t tell the truth but their fans don’t care as the lies make them feel better!

Shout Out For Steve Jobs’ Vision
Found this short article celebrating the visionary Apple co-founder.
Way back in 1985, Steve Jobs predicted Generative AI. In the video, he expresses his jealousy of Alexander the Great having Aristotle as a tutor. That despite being able to read what Aristotle wrote, he couldn’t ask him questions.
His vision? A time in which we have a tool - an interactive client - that is able to capture the world of someone like Aristotle on a computer.
And we get to ask questions.
