Rotapanel adds a low power slimline sign series to their solutions

Nowadays Rotapanel released their slimline series, a sleek and elegant light weight design, mechanically build upon the same proven reliable technology and it’s drive system.

Without any mechanical compromises these ready to use continuous message signs benefit from their form factor that results in rapid and smooth installation on any location. This due to the low weight, starting at approx. 16 kg. for the 450 mm roundel version, and its universal fixation. In order to drive the self-lubricated low friction drive system a quality DC motor is incorporated

Globally infrastructures are expanding, the need for smart, flexible and easy to deploy traffic guidance is required. This in order to reduce accidents and congestions. Smart signs are preferred due to their excellent costs and safety aspects and therefore recognized within the industry as a “true example of innovation”. Conditionally change the aspect of the sign at any given moment, as the signs can be linked to a central or local control system that monitors each sign.

One of the major differentiators between LED type VMS and prismatic variable message signs (PVMS) is their low power consumption, as it saves up to 1000 times the power. This makes this solution ideal for battery and solar operation, no need for costly cable excavations.
