Celebrations
In November, S2S Group celebrated National Living Wage Week and International Men’s Day!
National Living Wage Week
The real Living Wage is the only UK wage rate based on the cost of living. It is voluntarily paid by over 15,000 UK businesses who believe their staff deserve a wage that meets daily needs. S2S Group has been a certified living wage employer since 2023 and has seen many benefits such as boosted productivity, improved workplace culture, and increased staff retention. Alongside supporting our commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 8 – a commitment to decent work and economic growth.
International Men's Day
At S2S Group, we believe in creating an inclusive and supportive environment where everyone can thrive, and this day provides an opportunity to focus on important issues such as mental health, equality, and positive role modelling. International Men’s Day is a reminder that we all benefit from addressing challenges like the stigma around mental health, promoting inclusivity, and celebrating the diversity of men’s experiences and contributions. A problem shared is a problem halved.
Charity Support
S2S Group’s Board of Officers attended The Archer Project’s Fire and Ice Ball 🔥🧊
Rachel Hall, Chief Operating Officer, commented:
Attending The Archer Project's Fire & Ice Ball to raise funds for those facing homelessness in Sheffield was a truly memorable experience. The evening was not only filled with incredible moments and a lively atmosphere, but it was also deeply meaningful, knowing that our participation was directly supporting such an essential cause...
We hope other attendees had a wonderful night at the ball.
S2S Group recently partnered with a renowned American-based gaming software company.
Given the sensitive nature of their business, the gaming company required a secure ITAD solution to safely dispose of both data-bearing devices and general IT equipment, ensuring full compliance with industry regulations.
S2S Group customised the solution to meet these needs, offering a comprehensive service that included data destruction, general recycling and asset tracking.

Data Security and Sustainability
S2S Group's Knowledge Centre offers essential news articles on data destruction and IT asset recycling, guiding businesses through secure, compliant, and environmentally friendly IT asset disposition (ITAD) practices.
By staying informed, customers can make educated choices in selecting the best-fit data destruction and recycling services to safeguard sensitive data, meet regulatory standards, and support sustainability goals.
Data erasure is one of the foundational aspects of digital ethics that needs to be a requirement by every company. Secure data erasure is a more sustainable approach to data destruction. This method removes data while leaving the assets physically intact, enabling them to be reused within an organisation’s fleet or resold.
In today’s digital age, businesses are becoming more reliant on technology and electronic assets. However, with this reliance comes the growing need for effective IT asset management, especially regarding data security. Understanding where your assets go after they leave your premises is essential for maintaining control and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
With more and more companies looking to increase the return of the IT assets they invest in, refurbish and reuse strategies are needed to manage the process from redundant equipment to new. However, it is often missed that equipment can be refurbished and reused, either performing tasks as before or repurposed elsewhere in the business.
