 Welcome back to the third edition of our newsletter, where we delve into crucial aspects of poultry health. This time, we shed light on the often-overlooked issue of mineral toxicity in chickens.

 Minerals are essential for the well-being of our feathered companions, playing a vital role in bone development, enzyme function, and overall growth. However, an imbalance or excess of certain minerals can lead to toxicity, posing a threat to the health of our poultry.


 𝑼𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑻𝒐𝒙𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒕𝒚

 Magnesium Power growth and low egg production, reduce bone ash, poor shell quality, wet dropping.

Manganese Power Growths

Copper Necrosis in liver cells, Destruction of vitamin E, reduce growth, Gizzard erosion.

Cobalt Reduce growths

Iron Absorb vitamins and trace minerals, formation of insoluble phosphate, rickets.

Selenium Power growth and low egg production, low egg hatchability.
