Sara's Daily: March 2nd, 2024
Today's daily tip: When a new prospect contact you, respond back to them immediately, in no less than two hours.
Respond to a new lead within two hours of when they reach out to you.
To be clear: you do not have to set up the meeting right away; but you do have to acknowledge the person as soon as possible.
The other day I had to find a financial advisor for a friend of mine and out of six advisors I contacted, one - literally one person - called me back.
Yeah?
Yah.
The initial contact is the point when distrust is highest. Show them you are a person of action and kill those doubts right away.
If you have one of them "info@firmname" email addresses on your Contact page, make sure that whoever gets those emails is told to respond immediately when it is a new lead.
BOOM there ya go - and that's today's marketing tip!
If you don't have enough prospects in the pipeline, come to this workshop on Wed, March 7th at 12 PM ET and learn how to fill it.

10moThis is so spot on. I can’t tell you how many interactions I’ve had with various service providers over the past month or so where there is NO response at all. I second Jim’s advice. Another option: always respond same business day even if it’s just to say I got your message.
Financial Advisors: I'll help you grow your clientele, GUARANTEED. Ready to be held accountable? Get in touch!
10moSolid advice Sara. I would take this a step further -- respond within 2 hours to EVERY business text/email/call from prospects, clients, associates, LinkedIn connections, etc. 👍

10moUnless they had enough of an idea it wasn’t a fit. Sometimes getting to “no” as quickly as possible is the best for everyone. Great post as always. Oh and you’re right! Asap.
