Innovation Storytelling isn’t just an art—it’s a science. There’s a reason why stories have been a powerful tool for communication and persuasion since the dawn of humanity. Understanding the science behind why storytelling works can help you leverage it more effectively in your leadership and innovation efforts.

But let’s start with you. Chances are, if you’re an innovator, you probably spent a good deal of time on the science side of campus. And the deeper you delve into your area of expertise, the more structured, narrow, and specific your language -and the audiences you talked to- became. And that’s great. We need that for breakthroughs to happen.

  4. Close with a Strong Ending: End your story with a powerful conclusion that reinforces your key message and leaves a lasting impression. Whether it’s a call to action or a vision of the future, make sure your ending resonates.
