Sculpture Synergy with VR workshop explores the integration of VR sculpting with AI-powered creativity, advanced texturing techniques, and professional-grade video production. In today’s rapidly evolving creative landscape, blending human artistry with artificial intelligence can unlock new realms of possibility. Participants will learn how to bring their creations to life by producing high-quality video outputs using Unreal Engine 5.
The workshop is designed to provide a deep understanding of a professional workflow applicable to various scales and design contexts. Participants will learn how to create fully parametric-informed 3D models using Rhino and Grasshopper, which can efficiently improve the design processes from concept development to detailed facade design.
This workshop will explore the use of AI tools like Midjourney, Luma AI, and Runway Gen 3 to bring ephemeral architecture and ethereal sculptures to life. Participants will learn to create images from scratch with Midjourney, utilizing pre-prepared 3D models in Grasshopper that will be shared for greater efficiency. By harnessing these technologies, you will uncover the power of visual storytelling in architecture.

This workshop is designed to harness AI technologies effectively while remaining in control of the creative process. Through two targeted, hands-on sessions, participants will explore how AI can be thoughtfully integrated to enhance the creative design process. The focus will be on practical application—using AI as an extension of the designer’s toolkit without losing sight of core architectural principles.
Current design and architecture practice is highly adopted to use parametric modeling tools and procedural workflows. Such methods help designers to explore a wide range of outcomes for a defined design question. Conventionally, 3D software were limited to certain geometrical modifiers that could be used, but algorithmic modeling tools such as Grasshopper offer the possibility to develop custom modifiers in your design workflow. This workshop will comprehensively explore the Grasshopper environment and how this tool can be used for advanced 3d modeling procedures.
The workshop will cover crucial design concepts directly dealing with building materials and construction, focusing specifically on the evolution and design of architectural components such as columns, facade panels, and roof systems. We will try to find answers that influence design decision-making within the behavior of natural materials, the plasticity of synthetic material, the intricacies of components entanglement, and the resolution of the robotic fabrication process.
