1- Hottest Search News of the week
It’s been an interesting past few weeks in the world of search, with Microsoft launching the new Bing and with Google replicating with Bard, which is not been properly launched yet.
So the new Bing is available for testing for some users, and the opinions are very positive at the moment.
You can find a great article on the New Bing here.
To try the new Bing, you need to join a waiting list (found the link below)
On the other hand, Google Bird is not ready yet, and Google seems to be improving it right now before launch it to the public. Read here.
In the meantime, Google has published a Guide for Link building best practices,
Which you can check here.
2- Top SEO tip
This week’s SEO tips is on content creation vs content optimisation.
Stop creating spammy content at a scale or using AI.
There is no point in spending money on content that won’t rank.
Instead, audit your content, and then identify pages and articles that you can improve and work on.
To run a content audit of your website, you can use the following tools:
If you have never done a Content Audit, you can check this great article by Sara Taher

3- Top PPC Tip
A question, that I get asked a lot is:
Should I invest in Google Ads or Facebook Ads?
Here you are some tips to help you decide which one to go for!
1- With Google Ads, people search for what their problem or their need is, so you should show them the solution.
Google ads is super targeted, but then can be expensive, as you pay with CPC (cost per click) and then you have to convert them, so overall the CPA (cost per acquisition can be high), but this depends on many factors (competition, demand, etc).
2- With Facebook Ads, you proactively need to attract people with your ads showing in their feed, so it’s a bigger challenge, as you have to convince them with your ads.
On Facebook e Instagram the audience tends to be higher, and you can target by interests, but the % conversion can be lower than Google Ads.
So if you are offering a clear solution to an issue that people are searching for, use Google Ads...
and if you want to educate people about a problem and its solution, Facebook Ads it’s the best platform for it.
Although it depends on your goals, product, market, strategy, etc
Are you currently investing in Google Ads or Facebook Ads? (let me know in the comments) !
