The Secret For Unceasing Success

We always wonder about how to reach the end goal as an individual. However, due to a large number of twists-and-turns in the path of success, we might face different situations and might not be able to focus on the end goal. 

In this read, we will learn a few essential requirements and best practices for an individual to improve the ability to think, perform out of the box, focus on end-goal to dazzle in the crowd. Also, we will know what it takes to become an individual whom others can look up to?

Here are 8 vital qualities for an individual I believe are mandatory:

1. INTEGRITY

Meaning - Quality of being honest with strong moral principles. This is nothing but doing the right thing irrespective of what others think. Integrity always noticed by others on how you react to each situation that you come across on a day to day basis.

Few examples to test your integrity:

  • Backing up your fellow people when they commit a mistake without expecting the return.
  • Being sorry on your fellow persons' behalf.
  • Always look at the positive side rather highlighting negativity.
  • Always try to see from the opposite perspective to better understand the situation.
  • Volunteering for any good cause, anytime – anywhere – in any situation.
  • Impulse towards the right and best intentions.

2. CONFIDENCE

Meaning - Ability to think & trust yourself that you are capable of achieving further.

Few examples of demonstrating confidence:

  • Getting things done beyond your knowledge.
  • Building interest in different areas and demonstrating that to the crowd.
  • Managing difficult situations with ease without distress.
  • Attempt to continuously learn and share knowledge.
  • Do not limit to little tasks or worry about restrictions. Believe you are doing the right thing.
  • Believe you can successfully do any task by applying your judgment, knowledge, and experiences. If you do not have these, learn, build and share them.

3. COMMITMENT

Meaning – Commitment is a quality of being dedicated irrespective of the level of difficulty.

Few examples of demonstrating commitment:

  • Getting things done independently without depending on others.
  • Ability to overcome difficulties and achieve what’s required.
  • Ability to work hard and set examples for others.
  • Be passionate about what you do.
  • Ability to influence people around you with your knowledge and hard work.
  • Redoing the task over and over again until you achieve the desired outcome.

4. EMPATHY

Meaning – Ability to understand and react appropriately to the thoughts, emotions, and conditions of others by understanding sensations and situations from their perspectives.

Few examples of demonstrating empathy:

  • Understand and acknowledge the situation.
  • Listen to the fullest to better understand the situation.
  • Explain and demonstrate how would you feel about a situation from their perspective.
  • Assure you are interested to listen and encourage them to share how they feel.
  • Support and help their emotions to go hand in hand.
  • Help them trust you and overcome the obstacles with the situation they are in.

5. ACCOUNTABILITY

Meaning – Being responsible for what you do and to be able to derive the expected result from the task owned.

Few examples of demonstrating accountability:

  • Taking ownership of different tasks and being responsible for the outcome.
  • Accept the fact of failures in case the task owned does not give you the expected outcome.
  • Do not wait for others to make you responsible for any task, you can pick them at your own will.
  • Do not transfer ownership to others if you fail, try over and over again.
  • Help people around you to follow you and show them how you are being responsible for different tasks at your will.
  • Accountability does not limit at work, you should be able to own different tasks outside work.

 6. EMPOWERMENT

Meaning – Being able to share responsibilities to others and help them gain control over what they do and create a win-win situation between you and them.

Few examples of demonstrating empowerment:

  • Motivating people around you and help them overcome obstacles.
  • Help people make decisions independently.
  • Helping people around you with the knowledge you have gained and show them the path to grow equally.
  • Collaborate with people around you with the intent to improve their skills.
  • Stay neutral and positive in different situations.

7. CREATIVITY

Meaning – Ability to think and create innovative ideas to turn those ideas into reality.

Few examples of demonstrating creativity:

  • Suggesting an upgrade in the process, product or any field you can contribute to.
  • Identify opportunities to improve situations around you.
  • Identifying different ways to complete the task assigned.
  • Learn from others and tweak ideas to enhance your approach towards different situations.
  • Think like a scientist, try different methods to achieve what is required with a lot of trial and errors.
  • See everything from a different perspective (creative) to identify a better solution to any problem.

8. PROBLEM-SOLVING

Meaning – Process of finding solutions to different problems no matter how complex the problem is.

Few examples of demonstrating problem-solving skill:

  • Do not limit to a temporary solution. Always work towards identifying a permanent solution.
  • Being proactive towards any problem and identifying the solution that you think can be avoided.
  • Use a combination of logic and reasoning while identifying solutions.
  • Identify different problems without having to receive them and propose solutions proactively.
  • Always understand the difference between complex and simple problems.
  • Get to the root of the problem and identify a permanent solution.
Always Believe In
There Is No Problem Without A Solution!

Few Best Practices To Follow:

  • Spend at least a few hours a week in reading that aligns with your goal.
  • Talk to different people in the domain you are interested in, do not limit your circle.
  • Spend time in helping yourself to enhance your skills and knowledge by spending time on the web.
  • Writing! 'Write about what you have learned. Share what you have learned'.
  • Try different ways to address a particular problem, do not limit to what you have been taught.
  • Research as much as you can to become an expert in any domain you are interested in.
  • Share what you have learned with as many you can and ask for feedback, you never know what you missed.
  • “Take the blame” and support your fellow mates from any issues.
  • Trust the people around you. Everybody does mistakes. Learn as much as possible from the mistakes.
  • Work independently, but learn to share responsibilities.
  • Work hard, at the same time be smart. Don’t get carried away by working hard. Always “Plan!”
  • Build your social presence, build your own brand value out there! There are a lot of applications help you do this.
  • Always ask yourself this question whenever you start doing something. "Why?"
