Atlassian
Atlassian warned customers to immediately patch a critical vulnerability that provides remote attackers with hardcoded credentials to log into unpatched Confluence Server and Data Center servers.
Atlassian has recently (20/7/22) discovered a hardcoded credential. As the company comes under more scrutiny for security flaws after recent incidents.
The hardcoded credentials is triggered after installing Questions for Confluence app (versions 2.7.34, 2.7.35, and 3.0.2) on servers for a user account with the username disabledsystemuser — the original design was to help admins with the migration of data from the app to the Confluence Cloud.
As per 22/7/22 the vulnerability has been patched a critical hardcoded credentials vulnerability in Confluence Server and Data Center that could let remote, unauthenticated attackers log into vulnerable, unpatched servers.
Solution:
Updating the Questions for Confluence app to a fixed version (versions 2.7.x >= 2.7.38 or versions greater than 3.0.5) removes the problematic plugin

Sonicwall Critical SQL Injection fixed immediately
Recommended by LinkedIn
SonicWall has published on the 22/7/22 a security advisory warning of a critical SQL injection flaw impacting the GMS (Global Management System) and Analytics On-Prem products.
The GSM is usually used to manage firewalls and other security appliances across the world. As is a management device is usually not immediately exposed over the network.
The vulnerability carries a severity rating of 9.4, categorizing it as “critical”, and is exploitable from the network without requiring authentication or user interaction, while it also has low attack complexity.
Considering that the devlices not usually facing Severity rating for CVE-2022-22280 is confirmed (CVSS)
SonicWall clarifies that there is no active exploit noticed in the wild.
The advisory is to upgrade the GSM to latest version: GMS 9.3.1-SP2-Hotfix-2 or later and Analytics 2.5.0.3-Hotfix-1 or later. Any version number below these is vulnerable to CVE-2022-22280.
Currently, there is no workaround available for this vulnerability, so all administrators are advised to apply the available security updates.
