SELAH - GET YOUR FINGER OFF THE STOP BUTTON!

Stop or Pause. Your future is at the touch of a button. 

It’s April of 2020. Who’d have thought we’d all be thinking and experiencing some of the same things...Everywhere?!

Yes, there are massive difficulties. 

Yes, there are horrendous deaths. 

Yes, we are facing a financial catastrophe. 

No. Everything has not stopped.

So if things are still going, but my world feels like it has stopped...Has it stopped? 

Yes. If you allow it to.  

Selah 

A Hebrew word used in the Bible primarily in Psalms. It has a few definitions but mainly it is a significant place to pause. 

I feel we are living in a Selah moment in life everywhere in the world right now.

There is a huge difference between STOP and PAUSE. 

For the benefit of this article, I’d rather focus on pause. 

 While I served in the US Army during the Gulf War, I learned the soldier's creed and was introduced to a phrase: 

“I STAND READY”. 

Standing ready is like the flashing pause button. If someone looked at me and the stop button was pressed, I’m done, over, stopped, dead. 

HOWEVER, to see a flashing pause button, that is seeing a position of DUNAMIS!! Potential power. 

It’s like.... you are a bundle of dynamite and no big deal.....Until you light the fuse!! 

You have full control of yourself (you should anyway) and to live in a Selah moment is to be standing ready or dunamis power! 

The fuse is lit and ready to explode at any moment! It is an active waiting period. 

Having no plan at all can create a devastating explosion for you and everyone around you not to mention all the others you don’t even know still in the blast radius. 

But...A properly placed charge at the right time and exact location (Intention) could create space to expand not only your dreams and goals but also create space for others to do the same! -Selah
