Self-reflection: Ask Yourself, Success Story, and Learning Nuggets
Self-reflection Series
In the January edition of The Pulse, we kickstarted the Self-reflection series 'Ask Yourself'. If you missed reading and answering the three questions in the January edition, visit our newsletter here.
Ask Yourself #2
More prompts and questions in our upcoming editions.
Success Story
In January 2023, we partnered with HRiday - The HR Club at NMIMS, Bangalore, for their decipHR event - an Agile HR Case Study Competition. Students from different premier institutions participated in the competition, and our senior leaders, V Lakshmi Chirravuri & Sarika Gupta , served on the Jury. The analysis and the strategic solutions offered by the winners were commendable.
Learning Nuggets
We're starting a new section series, Learning Nuggets. In this edition, we will focus on Nudge Learning - Part 1.
According to Wikipedia, "nudge" is a behavioral science and economics concept that suggests using indirect recommendations and positive reinforcement to influence people's behavior and decisions.
Simply put, a nudge is a gentle push or guidance in the right direction, thus allowing people to learn and change their behaviors or make the right decisions. In the context of learning, a nudge can be sent via email, SMS, or an organization's learning management system (LMS).
In today's fast-paced business environment, L&D leaders must bring learning into the flow of work, and nudge learning is the best way to make the learners be in charge of their own learning.
In our March edition, we will focus on Nudge Learning - Part 2 to help you understand how to use nudges in your learning initiatives.
We conclude the February edition of our newsletter, The Pulse!
We hope you will self-reflect on the abovementioned questions and stay excited about Ask Yourself #3. Please leave your feedback or suggestions in the comments section on the topics you'd like us to cover in our upcoming editions.

Aspiring Recruiter and HR leader.
1yIts all about providing guidance to the employee while also providing them space to work freely so as to not micro-manage and/or control them. "Nudging" could definitely form part of servant leadership as a holistic approach and helps ensure that the employee has a good experience when engaging within the workspace, as well as their work!
