Selling in the storm

Selling in the storm

Emotions are high and people are fearful. Now more than ever we need strong positive leaders. My role is outside sales/business development. When the COVID-19 crisis began I was unsure how I would continue doing my "job". As the days have turned into weeks I am now aware what my true job is. I am to be encouraging and serving my clients even more. Offering support & relief, sometimes just listening. My efforts and activities have changed but my heart remains the same. My attitude and desire has always been to serve and help my client. "Selling" after all is about solving problems and offering solutions. During this stressful time sales professionals have a great opportunity to strengthen the relationship with our clients. This storm will pass and how we showed up for our clients will be important. Our communities are counting on us to remain optimistic and hopeful. Do not stop selling, as we all learn how to navigate through this storm remember someone is counting on you. Pick up the phone, send a zoom invitation, send that email. Checking in with your clients now will separate you from the pack later. Keep selling, keep connecting and keep caring for your neighbors. This too shall pass.

I've never been a fan of the word "selling". Similar to you, Michael, we are here to help in any way we can, make connections & to help find a solution. For those of us who genuinely have care & concern never stop.

Spot on brother. Our clients need us know more than ever, if nothing else for an ear to listen.
