September Deserves a Recap
First things first: Lisk has successfully migrated to Testnet v.4. This marks a crucial step on our journey toward transition to Mainnet launch. Our community has already jumped into testing the new network and sharing valuable feedback.
Berlin Blockchain Week was the second gem of the month. It felt like the entire Berlin Web3 community was on a thrilling adventure, hopping from one event to another and forging valuable connections along the way.
We take pride in the Lisk Center becoming the bustling hub of the city's Web3 ecosystem.
The Lisk SDK Hackathon kicked off the week with a bang: 70+ teams registered, 10 impressive projects were submitted.
Our Lisk crew and ambassadors in Nigeria went the extra mile by onboarding students from Rivers State University of Science and Technology , Ignatius Ajuru University of Education ICT Centre , Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic, and The University of Port-Harcourt for remote hacking.
The enthusiasm didn't stop there! Lisk ambassadors in Uganda took part in the #Hii5Radio show, discussing the hackathon and why we chose JavaScript for development. Big thanks to Abraham Mugisha and Vianney Kakooza for helping to grow a strong developer community in the region.
Together with our partners, we hosted three more fantastic Berlin Blockchain Week events, each with its unique vibe.
