I’m Claire Rushton-Plant, and I’m so excited to reintroduce myself as the proud owner of MiniMe Mindfulness® here in Staffordshire. My absolute passion is helping children discover their inner superpowers – whether it’s building confidence, resilience, or emotional awareness – and we do all of that while making sure they’re having loads of fun!
Why Mindfulness is So Important:
I truly believe that every child deserves the tools to navigate life with joy and confidence. At MiniMe Mindfulness®, I help children understand their thoughts and emotions, while giving them the skills to thrive both in school and beyond. Mindfulness really is a game-changer – it gives kids the ability to handle life’s ups and downs with grace and resilience.
My Journey to MiniMe:
After 20 years in education, I made a big decision in 2022 to focus on children’s mental health full-time. Over the years, I’ve seen so many students struggle with their mental well-being, and I knew I wanted to be part of the solution. Now, with MiniMe Mindfulness®, I get to combine my love for teaching with my passion for supporting children emotionally and mentally.
For me, helping children take care of their mental health is just as important as any academic lesson. It’s something I’ve worked on with my own children, and now I’m thrilled to bring these life-changing tools to families across Staffordshire.
What I Offer at MiniMe Mindfulness®:
Here’s a little look at what’s happening in Staffordshire:
Primary Schools: I run 45-minute breakfast and after-school clubs full of fun, interactive activities that teach mindfulness and mindset techniques. Plus, I handle all the logistics – from bookings to communication – using an easy online system!
Nurseries: For the younger ones, I offer 30–45-minute sessions designed to help pre-schoolers learn about their emotions through play and mindfulness activities.
Community Classes: At local venues, I hold community classes for children aged 3 and up. Parents are welcome to join in with the little ones, and together we explore techniques that help kids build emotional strength and awareness.

Private Coaching: I also offer personalised coaching sessions for parents and children, for families looking for more individualised support.
Intervention Programmes: I work closely with Primary Care Networks, the NHS, and County Councils to provide targeted intervention programmes, supporting parents and children who need that extra bit of help.
