September Serenade: Welcoming Fall with Open Arms
Staying in Africa
So, September has been busy so far, travelling and meeting friends (mostly new) in Kenya, in Nairobi and beyond – almost into Uganda. September is also the month for my birthday, my online celebration with some old and some of those new friends, and of course, The KGC 3!
At my 50th birthday event, I was blessed to have so many amazing guests and miracle friends supporting me and sharing brilliant times, laughs and a little Matt-Allen-Networking. As the 2 hours came to a close, I gave a short address, celebrating the facts of life and the new road ahead, I also reflected on my time in Kenya drawing to an end and how I had failed to get done what I had hoped to achieve – to find a way to fund a transfer of life to the African continent in order to safeguard myself from what I see as difficulties in the United Kingdom. Also, a move to the continent would mean the ability to work with the truly miraculous friends I have here, making change happen and benefitting the people who are willing to work hard to make that change and make it benefit all people.
As my birthday event ended, in happiness I set off to check on my flights and make sure I had everything ready for my trip. I opened my email and to my shock, my flight was changed - not a delay of a few hours or even a couple of days, but until the 3rd October!
Three weeks later!
Most people at this point may panic, maybe stress, but my major reaction was one of peace, knowing that this for me was a sign, a message.
To some this may seem ridiculous, some will say It is just coincidence, others, that God intervened or the universe or destiny… for me it is a miracle. No matter who or what made it happen, literally a few minutes after saying how I was sad to be going back to the UK and how I wished I had been able to stay in Africa longer to get things done - there was a clear message of “you’re not going back yet.”
Sure, this comes with some difficulties - budget is stretched beyond it’s usual thin existence, a lot of logistics and sacrifice, but, it is now possible to get more done here - to make a bigger impact and progress further down the avenue of making it possible to setup and settle down here in Africa.
So, instead of writing this from a cold and lonely office in the UK, I am writing it in my shorts and tee shirt enjoying an iced coffee from Africa as I reach out to people from all over the world - Miracle Friends, who want to and possibly hold the possibility to make my life transfer to Africa a reality.
All the best, my Miracle Friends, and thank you for the love and support you offer from reading this article and our newsletter, to helping make Kudos Miracles happen in so many ways.

The Election Games
Melissa Patrick
Hey there,
Let’s get real for a second. Every election cycle, we hear the same old blurbs: vote like your life depends on it, because it just might. But does it? I mean, are we really voting for change? Or are we just picking between two sides of the same broken system?
Think about it. Every four years, we’re balloted with candidates who’ve been selected long before we get to the polls. It's no secret that this two-party system our country has devolved into are run by the same quiet, elite circles. Two wings of the same turkey, you’ll often hear me say. They feed us talking points, red vs. blue, liberal vs. conservative, you vs. me as if there’s some monumental difference between any of the two. But at the end of the day, this game is rigged. They’re all playing for the same team - and spoiler alert, it’s not ours. The good news is the rest of us are also all playing for the same team. It is time we stop giving into what our perceived differences are and embrace our similarities. We are all humans thrust onto this planet with no owner’s manual, after all.
Elected? More Like Selected.
Here’s the thing: candidates aren’t elected, they’re selected. Sure, you show up, cast your vote, and feel good about doing your civic duty and flexing your American democratic rights. But by the time you punch that ballot, probably through a Diebold electronic voting system, the real decisions have already been made. Special interest groups, corporate donors, and the 0.01% have already chosen who’s going to be in power. They bankroll campaigns, write digital checks with more zeros than you’ll see in a lifetime, and in return? They get to pull the strings behind the scenes.
The WEF, Bilderbergs, Trilateral Commission, CFR - why so secretive ...and, Bohemian Grove, secretive and WEIRD!
The Two-Party Trap
Ever notice how nothing really changes no matter who’s in office? That’s because we’re trapped in a two-party system designed to give us an illusion of choice. Democrats, Republican - what’s the difference when both parties are bought and paid for by the same entities with the same agenda? They give us two options and tell us to pick a side, but in reality, we’re just playing their game. The game where you think ‘player one has just entered the game’, but really, you’re just an NPC.
I know personally that the political elite and even local politicians don’t care who wins because no matter the outcome, they’ve already won. Why? Because it’s their system. A system where elected officials line their pockets with donation money from special interest groups, lobbyists, and corporate sponsors. All while they tell us they’re fighting for ‘the people.’
Fighting for who, exactly? Their own people. Because the only people getting their voice heard and getting more prosperous are the ones already sitting at the top.
The Real Power Players
Ever hear of The Golden Rule? They who has the gold, makes the rules. Well, that’s the real game being played here. The super-rich, shadowy, elite - generational billionaires, mega-corporations, Wall Street - they’re some of those pulling the strings. And politicians? They’re just the puppets, performing for the masses. All the world’s a stage, and our shadowy controllers are the directors, controlling the narrative while the rest of us are chained to our chairs, thinking we’re participating.
You want to know why your vote doesn’t seem to matter? Because the decisions that impact your life are being made in boardrooms, not ballot boxes. Tax cuts for the wealthy? Check. Corporate bailouts? Check. Meanwhile, we’re told to tighten our belts and “trust the system.”
So, What’s the Solution?
Here’s the part where you might expect me to say, “don’t vote,” but I won’t. Because that’s not the answer. Dipping out isn’t going to fix this mess. What we need is a complete overhaul.
We need to break free from this two-party choke hold and demand a system that represents more than just the interests of the rich and powerful. A system where elected officials can’t be bought, where money doesn’t equal influence, and where people come before profits.
Sound impossible? Maybe it is. But so was the idea of a true, incorruptible democracy once. It can start with publicly funded elections, where candidates can’t accept donations from corporations or special interests. Where campaigns are run on ideas, not cash.
We can start with ranked-choice voting that ditches the same old two-party garbage and finally gives independent candidates a real shot. No more settling for the lesser evil - it's time to release the gooood - real options, real power, and real change.
It can start with term limits and banning corporate lobbying so that the same corrupt faces aren’t running the show for decades.
But most importantly, it starts with US. Refusing to buy into the illusion anymore. Refusing to play along in a system rigged against us. We are more powerful than we think. The moment we realise that the system only works because we allow it to, we start taking the power back.
So next time someone tells you that this election is the most important one of your lifetime, remember this: the most important election is the one where we finally dismantle this rigged system and build something new.

An innocent daughter Lost her Life in Hathras, she was just 19 years of age......
UP was in shambles, I tell you folks......then Unnao & now this incidence in Hathras, the SANCTITY & DIGNITY OF WOMEN is Lost too.....A place where an Icon like Kaka Hathrasi was born, a Hindi satirist and humorist poet. Throughout his Life, he made everyone laugh through his Hasya Kavi (beautiful humorous n light poems), that place has to see such a Day. An inhuman behaviour & treatment given to the daughter of the soil in such a disdainful manner. This is nothing but the biggest mockery demonstrated against the Female fraternity & to the much publicized slogan of "Beti Bachao, Beti Padao", Did this slogan not ECHOED in the ears of people who disgraced & humiliated this innocent Soul? Did their hands not tremble while performing that ghastly act of putting the body of the daughter on the pyre & depriving the family by not allowing them to perform the Last Rites as per the Hindu Rituals. Yes, you are correct, the rate of crime against women has gone up YoY.
The state machinery in all aspect have failed in upholding & protecting the sanctity of Womanhood. Such a disgraceful example has been set forth by the authorities against all the Human Rights which is undoubtedly a STIGMA on the face of Humanity in this 21st century. An example shown of this nature was uncalled for & is unpardonable. This has not only HURT the sentiments of our society but also suggests that our heads should hang in SHAME. By such an ACT, we have pushed our society back into the Dark Ages……….it’s time for everyone to ponder about & decide jointly, are we looking forward to & prepared to LIVE in a SOCIETY like this or are we going to handover such a Legacy to our GenX which is full of Hatred & Crime or is it now the RIGHT time that we should have a MODEL CODE for our Society to ensure Sustainability, Safety and Security for our GenX to Live Happily.
Let's all ask our Conscience to Think Judiciously and put forth our views & opinion for a Better, Safer, Secured & Healthier tomorrow for our Children's irrespective of Caste, Colour, Gender, Religion and Creed………for us "Every Lives matter"..........
Vanished Into the Sea of Emptiness
Accomplished Poet
Obliterated into the sea of nothingness,
Where lost souls fade in sorrow and unhappiness.
Barefoot and restless, some roam,
Searching for shelter and a place to call home.
In the depths of the sea, salt water stings,
Weeds and decay are the daily things.
They are devoured by the creatures below,
The cost of sin in this dark undertow.
A soul repents, but salt consumes,
The Dead Sea, their only tomb.
Body frozen, numb to the core,
Never to be seen by humanity anymore.
Rescue boats comb the desolate sea,
Yet calamity grows, as death they see
The scent of despair fills the air,
And the count of the lost becomes too much to bear.
Cold bodies found, lifeless yet whole,
The echoes of frustration take their toll.
Untold stories of lives lived in fear,
But the sorrowful cries now disappear.
Dreams once imagined vanish in time,
Yet faith still flickers, a light divine.
Beneath the blue sky, where eagles soar,
Hope arises, broken no more.
The stars of night, bright and true,
Reflect a beauty long overdue.
Now love, hope, and joy abound,
Where once only darkness could be found.
A life rebuilt with prayer and grace,
In the warmth of a kind embrace.

Hearts beat to the rhythm of faith,
As dreams take shape and find their place.
No longer trapped in a sea of despair,
These souls now live with love and care.
Happiness reigns, and hope unfolds,
Stories of triumph, once untold.
A home for every soul, a life restored,
Where dignity and respect are forever ensured.
Homelessness, poverty fade away,
And humanity shines in a brighter day.
The world now dances, hearts alight,
A place where shadows fade from sight.
A globe of peace, where love is true,
And every right is honoured, too.
The Significance of Football in Global Cultures
Football, commonly known as "the beautiful game," occupies a unique place in the cultural landscape of numerous nations worldwide. Its straightforward nature, accessibility, and widespread appeal make it a global phenomenon that transcends boundaries, languages, and social divides. The significance of football in various countries' cultures is broad, influencing national identity, promoting unity, and acting as a powerful tool for social cohesion.
One of football's most profound cultural impacts lies in its ability to shape national identity. In countries like Brazil, Argentina, and Italy, football is not merely a sport—it is a reflection of national pride. Success on the international stage, such as in the FIFA World Cup, generates collective joy and pride by showcasing a nation's talent to the world. Brazil’s five World Cup triumphs, for example, have cemented its status as a football giant, while Argentina’s legendary players, including Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi, serve as symbols of the nation’s footballing tradition on the global stage.
Football also serves as a unifying force in society. During times of political unrest or economic difficulties, the game offers a shared experience that brings people together, regardless of background. A notable instance of this was during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, where the entire country united behind its team, despite deep social and economic divides. Similarly, in conflict zones, football can provide a temporary respite from strife, giving people a rare opportunity to experience moments of joy and peace. The sport’s ability to unite is one of its most valuable cultural contributions.
Additionally, football plays a significant role in promoting social inclusion and driving social change. Across Europe, football clubs have been at the forefront of campaigns promoting diversity and combating racism, such as the "Kick It Out" initiative in the UK and UEFA’s "No to Racism" campaign. These efforts highlight how the sport can challenge societal issues and encourage inclusivity. Furthermore, grassroots football programs in disadvantaged areas create opportunities for underprivileged youth, using the game to uplift and empower communities.
In summary, football’s influence on culture reaches far beyond the sport itself. It helps build national pride, fosters unity, and serves as a catalyst for social progress. The cultural importance of football is undeniable, as it continues to inspire passion, pride, and a sense of community across the globe. In many ways, football reflects the hopes, challenges, and dreams of entire societies, providing a common ground for people to connect and celebrate.
Borderline Personality Disorder (BDP) & The Common Signs And Symptoms
Borderline personality disorder, or BPD, is a mental health disorder that affects how you feel about yourself and about other people in your life. Those who have experienced it in their lives describe it as a roller coaster ride—full of emotions, relationship turmoil, and a fluctuating sense of self. BPD can cause frequent changes in personality, self-concept, and even likes and dislikes.
Signs and symptoms of borderline personality disorder: There are various indicators and symptoms associated with borderline personality disorder. Mental health professionals categorize the disease's symptoms into nine groups in order to identify it. A long-term history of at least five of these symptoms is required for a BPD diagnosis.
Here are some BPD symptoms and indicators:
1. Fear of abandonment: One of the most prominent symptoms of BPD is fear of abandonment. People with BPD often fear being away from loved ones or being alone. So they can react strongly to something as simple as family members coming home late from work. As a result, people with BPD make frantic efforts to keep family and friends close to them.
2. Destabilized relationships: People with BPD are quick to fall in love and then easily get frustrated and want to get out of love. Often, they enter into a new relationship hoping that this new person might be able to provide them with some solace from the constant worries and insecurities.
3. Vague self-concept: Self-concept or image is a perception you have about yourself, determined by how much you like yourself. People with BPD face many challenges in maintaining a stable perspective. They love themselves immensely one day and hate themselves the next.
4. Self-destructive behavior: Self-destructive behavior and impulsivity are the two most prominent symptoms of BPD. People with this disorder engage in self-destructive behaviors such as reckless driving, shoplifting, excessive alcohol or drug use, excessive spending, etc.
5. Self-harm: After self-destruction comes self-harm. People with BPD have no qualms about harming themselves. They can easily cut themselves or burn themselves and take any suicidal steps.
6. Mood swings: BPD causes extreme mood swings, which can go from a happy-go-lucky mood today to a depressed and suicidal mood tomorrow. This symptom occurs because people with BPD become agitated over even the smallest things in life and go into a mood swing.
7. Feelings of emptiness: People with BPD suffer from chronic feelings of emptiness. They often feel like "nobody" and try to fill this uncomfortable feeling of emptiness with extreme and risky behavior.
8. Explosive anger: BPD causes impulsivity, which often leads to explosive anger. They are prone to short-term anger at the slightest disagreement.
9. Paranoia or suspicion: People with BPD often struggle with paranoia. They are often suspicious of other people's motives and can make their spouse's life miserable with their foggy and misguided beliefs and thoughts.
BPD is mainly treated with psychotherapy, but a doctor may add medication to the plan to manage symptoms. A doctor may also recommend hospitalisation if self-harm or suicidal behaviour is detected. If you or someone you know has symptoms of BPD, don't ignore them.
Productive Living with Practical Self-care
1) Give yourself a break today. Instead of dwelling on the people who have let you down, refocus your energy on appreciating those who lift you up. Remember, you can’t control the impolite things some people say and do to you, but you can decide to choose. This is Power Of choice.
2. Sometimes your mind needs more time to accept what your heart already knows. Pause, Breathe. Give yourself the space to listen to your own voice. Do not listen to the noise of the world its just chaos don’t get lost in the crowd.
3. Be kind, but learn to say no. You can’t always be agreeable. Sometimes you have to set boundaries. Sometimes saying no is vital self-care.
4. When life feels like an emotional roller coaster, just do simple rituals. Make the food. Do your bed. Water the plants. Rinse off your own bowl and spoon. Simplicity attracts calmness and wisdom.
5. Whatever you do, don’t get stuck on the one little thing that wrecks your mood today. Breathe and be grateful for what’s in front of you. Some of it is a blessing, and nothing lasts forever. Life is just too short to waste on any negativity...or any negative self talk too.
6. No matter how long you've travelled in the wrong direction, you always have the choice to turn around. So, accept it, learn from it, and grow from it. It doesn't matter what you've done-what matters is what you do and where you go from here.
7. Dare to make edits and improvements. Dare to make your growth a priority. The truth is, you won't always be a priority to others, and that's why you need to be a priority to yourself. Learn to respect yourself, take care of yourself, and become your own support system. Your needs matter. Start meeting them...Don't wait on others to choose you. Choose yourself today.
8. You may have been broken down by adversity or rejection or stress, but YOU are not broken. You are not stuck! So don’t let your mind or anyone else try to convince you otherwise. Heal yourself, and grow beyond the default settings in life. Choose to take up a lot of positive space in your own life today. Choose to give yourself permission to meet your own needs honour your feelings and emotions. Choose to make self-care and personal growth top priorities and YES, I know that's much easier said than done, but you are not alone on this journey. Many of us are right there with you, working hard to do the right things for ourselves. At least you started.. You thought about your wellness, your self-care.. Be happy !

3moMelissa, I completely support your position! Your thoughts on the illusion of choice in the political system and the dependence of power on elite interests resonate deeply with me. We need something similar in Ukraine—publicly funded elections, ranked-choice voting, and term limits for politicians. Dictatorship already exists in Ukraine. We must fight for a system that works for the people, not for the oligarchs.
