Service Cycle: Developing The Next Generation of Servant Leaders
One of the greatest traits we can instill in our students is that of service. This comes in many forms. Sometimes it is found in donating canned goods to a food pantry or warm coats as part of a clothing drive. Other times it is seen through the donation of spare change for a cause near and dear to the school community. No matter the method, creating a cycle of service in the lives of our students will help to foster the next generation of Servant Leaders.
TAKE ACTION
Choose a charity of the year event that not only helps others in need, but reminds students:
- there's always someone out there with greater challenges than the ones they might be struggling with today.
- to feel the joy of giving.
- the powerful impact that takes place in the lives of others when we give.
BE BOLD
In 2016, No Excuses University collectively raised enough money to open a new chapter of Camp Kesem.
