She is gone, but why am I not sad?
She has gone. But I am not sad.
Someone who was always there, is gone.
That feels very strange.
She served so stoically and consistently. She brought stability and consistency.
Many love her and she has commanded world-wide respect for over 60 years.
Yet, I am not sad.
Why?
For her I am happy. At 96 I am sure she was ready to depart to better lands.
She had finished her course. She has run her race.
All that is left is for her is to discover the wonder of heaven and enjoy boundless amazing eternal adventures.
I am so happy for Queen Elizabeth that she now gets to see and live completely free in the amazing forever adventure.
I can assure you we will not be sitting on clouds and playing the harp in heaven. That is the most boring thing most people can imagine! The earth is amazingly beautiful and diverse and abounding in adventure – but that is just the first few lines of the book. Earth is but a very weak black and white advertising brochure for the real adventure in heaven.
Our minds will be completely blown when we see what God has in store for those who love him. The bible says we cannot even imagine the wonder and brilliance of where we are going! Wow, that is an incredible thought.

The biblical view of earth is that it is like a black and white picture book we look at for the briefest of moments. Heaven however is the multi-coloured, surround-sound, 5D movie that you can live in forever!
The Queen will be completely blown away at the splendour of the King of the Universe.
She is going to be completely free of the awkward disconnect of a royal life and a personal life. It will all come together where she and all of us who chose Him will be the princesses and princesses in His family. I cannot wait to experience that.
I have high praise for her service to her people and to the world. She was a lady who lived through a time of incredible technical advances and massive change. Yet she was rock solid in what she believed, and she lived integrous to her convictions.
She drew deeply on her faith and even though she lived a life of privilege she chose to be utterly devoted to serve her people.
In a world of so many leadership and character failures she built an amazing legacy.
Well done Queen Elizabeth II. You served well. No one does it perfectly, but you certainly gave it your best.
I can’t wait to meet in heaven and we will all be Kings and Queens doing amazing exploits under the great King.
I am so happy for you.
To those who are deeply saddened by her passing and to her family, may you be comforted in your great loss. May you draw comfort from the hope and joy of where she has gone. As the Queen did, may you also choose to live for the great King and humbly accept that you cannot save yourself. He has made a way through the Great King – Jesus.
I am reminded of this quote “Let love and faithfulness never leave you. Write them on your heart, bind them around your neck and you will gain favour in the sight of God and men” Proverbs 3v2
