Shearwater Health Sponsors ABCs for Global Health Mobile Clinic Van Wraps
San Fernando, Pampanga, December 21, 2022 – ABCs for Global Health, a non-government organization dedicated to providing medical and healthcare services to marginalized communities in Pampanga unveiled their newly wrapped mobile clinic units sponsored by Shearwater Health Philippines which commenced the clinical process outsourcing company’s support of the organizations mission in providing telemedicine, medical research, and health support to the underprivileged.
Two mobile clinics, used for medical missions for eighteen localities around Pampanga, has been restored with a brand-new exterior emphasizing on the foundation’s mission and values – Advocacy, Betterment and Commitment. The unveiling of the units was participated by Shearwater Health Philippines team including Vice President for Talent Acquisition Jen Borlaza, Director for Clinical Operations Dr. Dyan Hipol, Senior Training Manager Bree Cerdinia and Senior Brand & Marketing Manager Victoria Alcantara with ABCs for Global Health Founder Dr. Julietta Gabiola, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Arthur Gallo, along with the foundations Pharmacists, medical staff and coordinators.
“Kaya kailangan namin tayo, tulong-tulong at sama-sama para ma-expand ang ating project. Kasi ang dream ko, hindi lang sa Pampanga kundi Davao, Cebu, Tacloban o buong Northern Luzon aabot ang ABCs to give access to medical care and help prevent diseases like kidney or heart diseases, (Trans.: Together, we should help each other to expand our mission. My dream is not just for the people in Pampanga but also in Davao, Cebu, Tacloban or the whole Northern Luzon to gain medical care access from ABCs and help prevent diseases like kidney or heart diseases,)” Said Dr Julietta Gabiola, CEO and Founder of ABCs for Global Health Foundation during her thanksgiving speech at the ribbon cutting ceremony held at the foundations headquarters in San Fernando, Pampanga. "Gagastusan mo ang pamilya, ipagbibili ang kalabaw pati ang bahay para maipagamot o ma-dialysis ang kanilang pamilya. Pero sana matulungan natin silang ma-prevent ito. Iyon ang ating mission kaya maraming salamat sa tulong ng ating partners. (Trans.: Families will spend their fortune --- sell their livestock or sell their house to support the medical expenses, or get their loved ones undergo dialysis. But my hope is that we can help them prevent that from happening. That is the missio, that is why we are grateful for the help we are getting from our partners.)"

The mobile clinic effort of ABCs for Global Health has served over 10,000 patients since its inception in 2016, providing disease prevention through health care education, free medications, and treatment services to communities in Pampanga. Its partnership with Shearwater Health, which employs more than 4,000 clinicians in the Philippines including Registered Nurses, hopes to intensify the medical mission reach within and outside Pampanga for patients with hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, hyperlipidemia, and stroke --- the most prevalent diseases in the adult population and the leading causes of deaths in the Philippines and globally.
