SLASSCOM AND AWS PRESENT A HANDS-ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND MACHINE LEARNING WORKSHOP

SLASSCOM, in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), launched a 2-day virtual workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) on 13th and 14th February 2023. The workshop is aimed at students, undergraduates and professionals in the IT industry, as well as those who are interested in AI and ML.

The workshop provides participants with hands-on experience in building, training and deploying ML models in a production-like scenario. Using Amazon SageMaker, a fully-managed platform for ML, participants will learn how to build, train and deploy ML models in a cloud-based environment. The workshop also covers business use-cases using ML and provides an end-to-end understanding of building ML use cases, as well as an understanding of various in-built algorithms from SageMaker.

Senthilvel Palraj, Senior Solution Architect at AWS, delivers the workshop. He supports telecom customers from India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka with their journey to AWS by building scalable, reliable and secure systems on AWS. Senthilvel holds a bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering from PSG College of Technology in Coimbatore, India.

Amazon SageMaker is a fully-managed platform for ML that provides developers and data scientists with the ability to build, train and deploy ML models in a cloud-based environment. This means that participants in the workshop will not only gain a theoretical understanding of ML, but also practical experience in building and deploying ML models using a real-world platform.

The workshop is conducted free of charge and is being held from 2.30 PM - 5.00 PM on both days. It is an excellent opportunity for participants to gain hands-on experience in building, training and deploying ML models using Amazon SageMaker.
